Fiskars has a lifetime warranty on those cutters they will either replace just the wire or send you a whole new trimmer....

I like my cutterpillar, cuts straight the only issue I have is since I got it it is out about 1/8 of an inch ( I am **** about that stuff) and no matter how many times I try and adjust that thing it...
