I tried that but it doesn't always cut correctly because the paper won't stay in straight. Besides, this was what I would call a not-necessesary-but-bought-for-convenience-kind-of-purchase.

I get that you think she is taking advantage because her cards aren't as "fancy" as yours, but guess what - once you swap it, it no longer belongs to you. If you can't get past that then don't swap...
