My first sets were Christmas tag sets purchased about 1996. They were foam mounted and didn't come with wood. I still have them and still use them for making gift tags.

crystal effects

I have a stamp that features a camp fire. I put the crystal effects over the flames and used my heat gun to carefully get some bubbles. It added texture to the flames for an interesting effect.
