Usually works for me

Two things I do to remedy this problem:

(1) Try scuffing the stamp with fine grit sand paper to give it a little more "grab"

(2) Try putting a foam sheet under the stamp before stamping. I use...

Clear mount

I was having issues getting clear mount to stick to the block until someone suggested rubbing the back of the stamp against my clothes to create static before mounting on the block. This has worked...
