Definitely mono won't work. Use sticky strip, crimp it, then sit on it, then put your phone book on it, and drive over it a few times. Should do the trick :)

I just thought it might help to let you all know that I picked up one of these today at Walmart ($2.27 Canadian) and they'll fit 17 or 18 spools of SU Grossgrain ribbon. Just gotta get hubby to hand...

My kids make really cool creations with the extra rubber. I just give them a piece of cardstock and the make a "picture" using scraps. They love it and it keeps them busy for quite a while.
