I use 1/8" circle punch and it seems to work okay for me. I don't like my hole to large that it wiggle around too loosely. But the marking on the plastic is a great idea!

Yes, Michael's has them. But I was not able to find the clear ones. They carry bright white, color and frosted ones.

I use my SU punches on the plastic, it works well.
