Another vote for the Big Shot :). I have a Bug that I keep for a back up. I prefer my Big Shot over my Bug though.

I chose the Sizzix eclips and I'm very happy with it. I can use cartridges if I choose, I can purchase ready made SVG's, and I can design my own cut files. Replacing mats and blades is not expensive....

Ink pads should be stored flat. I have all my ink pads in handy reach just above my counter where I work on my projects. I just took the boxes the ink pads came in and screwed the boxes to the wall....

It does cut chipboard great, but I also like that I can cut only to three and have 'bendable' chipboard when I need it :). Comes in handy to have that if you want to make a cylinder shape too.

I posted this over on your other thread :). I use a Zutter Kutter to cut my chipboard. It's made especially for cutting chipboard. I LOVE my Zutter Kutter. You get straight and smooth cuts with it....
