Annie's Pantry Birthday Pie Challenges - Jun 26
Country Breakfast Pie… Jun26BPC1
There is nothing better than starting you day out with a good Breakfast. So, I challenge you to start today with a good Breakfast LO. Like The recipe calls for in any pie, you need to start out with a crust. So you can choose a traditional crust of White Paper or a French Style by using Cream paper. Of course if you like your crust a little on the well done side you can choose light Tan paper or River Rock for SU! Fans.
Next, like a true breakfast pie, you can use anything you want as the filling, just remember to bind it all together with your eggs (photos). The more the merrier, fill your page full of all sorts of things.
Please remember you have two hours for each challenge.

I'm ready for a story, while I choose my next piece of pie...How About all of You?????
Blueberry / Elderberry / Bumbleberry Pie...Jun26BPC5
Yes I know there is a difference between Blueberries and Elderberries, But Im not really sure what Bumbleberries are All I know is that they are good and According to Grandpa Smith from the Bumbleberry Inn at the mouth of Zions National Park, bumbleberries are burple and binkel berries that grow on giggle bushes, so named because they giggle when the berries ripen and the bush begins to quake, and at the precise moment that they ripen, they giggle. If you were to eat a berry while it was giggling, you would spend the rest of your life giggling. And because I cant decide which one was my favorite. I decided that I would let you all choose. The challenge is this If you choose Blueberries then you must use blue circles some where in your LO, if you choose Elderberries then you must use Purple Triangles somewhere on your LO. If you are brave and want to try some Bumbleberry pie then your challenge is to use both blue circles and purple triangles. There will be bonus points if you can show giggles and smiles in your photos. If you are not sure what Elderberries are, here is a web site that will help. www.elderberries.com also here is the website for the Bumbleberry Inn, www.bumbleberry.com

So the challenge is to create a top crust on your LO using ribbons, rick-rack and primas. Bonus points if you use red & white!!!!

I saved the Nuts for Misti.... I thought she might be on around now...
Pecan Pie / Carmel Walnut Pie...Jun26BPC8
In lots of ways they are the same pie, It just depends on what nuts you use. So your challenge is to gather all our nuts, (hardware like brads, lags and do-dads). You need to use at least three different types of hardware eyelets, brass, buttons, brads, rhinestones, lags, etc Make it look like your nuts have floated to the top like a Pecan Pie!!!

I saved my favorite for last....
Banana Cream /Coconut Cream Pie...Jun26BPC9
I saved my very favorite for the last There is nothing I use to like better than ending my day with a very large piece of Banana Cream Pie topped off with Jerseys (our Cow) fresh Whipped Cream, while listening and sitting beside my dad at the table. Now my Dad is gone and all I have are the memories. My ending challenge for you all is to create a Heritage page, fill it full of memories that you can share with your kids. Thats what I do now! Every time we have Banana Cream Pie, I share a treasured memory of my Dad with my Boys.

and the best "BAKERS" are.... (Pie Contest Winners)
I just want to start off by saying Thank You to everybody that spend my birthday day with me... I think we had a lot of fun, I know I did!
Next... My Grandmother would like me to tell everyone "Thank You" also for making her birthday just as special. She really enjoyed looking at all the different pages and LO's. My Grandma is not a computer person at all. In fact she thinks they do more harm than good... But lately she has been enjoying the family website that we put together for my mother and her, so that they can feel closer to us here in the east. She had alot of fun sitting and looking through all the LO's, my niece told me. SO THank You Everybody....
NOW>>>>>>
I would like to give a big around of applause to all of our wonderful bakers. (DRUM ROLL PLEASE.....:mrgreen
Wow--thanks for the goodies in the mail--I had forgotten that I had done any of these before our vacation!! What a sweet surprise to recieve your package in the mail!!!
