Scrappin' Challenge 2018Can you believe this is our 10th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2017 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2018! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2018! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.

I'm in again. Completed 10 layouts in October to bring my total YTD to 52, so I made my yearly goal! I know, not very high, but I wanted to shoot for about one a week average. I'm going to try to complete another 10 in November.
Hi Lela, count me in this month...I need to find my mojo again although I did start a card base the other day but it's still sitting on my craft table unfinished.
My goal will be 6 this month.....small steps.
No sure what my YTD is but I can check and let you know...I think my last contribution would have been in June.

Sharon (Sewflake)....I saw your post end of October just now and yes it was me travelling and I'm back now for a few months. No extended trips planned or intended yet.
Michele I'm glad you found your mojo again. My sister cries a lot after her massive op last year....I believe it's normal and if you need support, there's no better group than these ladies...as you know. Take care.

I have all the pages done for my in-laws calendar! Yeay! Now I just have to design a cover and then all the pages for my parents... haha....
I am also ordering a bunch of photos so maaaybe I can scrapbook for my own family soon....??? Anyway, I've updated my signature with my totals and added the last page to the gallery.

I am reaching my yearly goal! I have done 58 of 100 so far. My goal this month is 25! I am going to a scrap retreat and hope to do lots of pages!
Just checking in and have 2 two page layouts to post for November. I get lots of scrapping done as I have to stay home with DH as he is not walking right now. Being at home all day gives me plenty of time to scrap and less time to collect supplies, a win win on all fronts.
I have got to check out the Nov stash busters challenge......and Sharon everyones pages.

I got 13 pages finished for October and made my yearly goal of 125. I plan to work mostly on Christmas cards this month so I’m gonna make my Nov goal just 5.
I'm traveling again for work ... I'll be home next Tuesday and I leave again Wednesday. It's a rough start to November however, the following week I'm in Cincinnati with my youngest and I'm looking forward to time with him :cool:
But for now ... photo moments!

I decided to start a page after supper tonight. Trying to figure out how to finish up this page. I started out gang busters, but am petering out. It seems I am always looking for something in my craft room. I am going to start a list of everything I haven't been able to find tonight. I know I have a doily die , but can't find it. I have two scrapbook mini kits, I can't find. I just can't imagine where I put stuff! I earlier was looking for a stamp set, found it. ugh! Maybe I will go to bed. DH is already there.
Sharon, the story of my life!! Hunting and hunting for the things I know I have but can't remember where I put them!! So frustrating, and one of the reasons I just use something that is laying on my desk!!! I have been hunting for days for a pumpkin die cut that I colored a week ago or more!!
I am glad I am not the only one! Sharon, last night in bed, (I couldn't sleep) I remembered where the kit was! And the good news is I had been wanting to send a thank you to the SCS sender, and couldn't find her address. I had stored the kit in the same box (it was in plain site on a shelf, just didn't know that is what I was looking for!) it came it with her address on it! Yay! I had been looking for the address for 2 week! LOL
Then, when I got up and came into my craft room at one this morning to verify it was where I remembered, BINGO, while I was in here I remembered where the die was. It was a MFT die and I store it with the MFT stamps! Well, you would have thought after that I could have slept! NOT!

Happy weekend everyone....I started a couple of quick cards and funnily enough they were more like mini scrap pages..lol. I will post one of them soon..the other still has to be finished. It has hel me get back into the groove.
Have fun and hope none none of you live near the fires....so sad and reminds me of what some parts of oz have gone through. I'm not sure how I would feel if I lost everything....so much history and my beloved photos and scrapbooks. Small things I know.

I keep thinking it is just stuff too but don't know what I would do if I lost certain portions of it.
I recently lost a circle die...still have not found that single die but have the rest of the set. I hope it is attached to the back of something, while when my phone case with a magnetic clip on it pulled a small die out that was in the bottom of my purse.
Thats what I get for carrying envelopes of dies in my purse, at least it found a die I did not know was missing from the set!!!!
Working at working on a two page layout. For some reason I am finding too many other things to do instead of getting it done!
Did I tell you, on Thursday, I go to my Scrap retreat that lasts through Sunday. Last time I got 21 or 22 pages done. Hope I can do that again! I trying to take what I need. There are only 12 of us spread over three rooms. So not a lot of distraction like going to the big ones. They fix our meals to, and it is an old house, with five bedrooms and another bathroom. I lucked out and got the small single bedroom. I wish I had been doing this for years like the rest of them, but is only my third one. With selling our home and moving this year, I even forgot I signed up for it! A lovely surprise, because with only 12 opening, they fill up on all dates by
the end of January, almost as soon as they send out the email!
