I missed my goal for December by one. I finished 4 pages.

My goal for January is 5 again. I am starting slow and waiting for life to slow down some.

My YTD for 2019 was 40

Hi! Thanks for thoughts & prayers. Starting to feel like I am waking up. Interested in life again! LOL. Not as much pain. Looking forward to crafting! It has been only two weeks, but feels like a month! Next Thurs, I will get these casts off. Then, braces? Don’t know what next? Anyway, every day, better.
Happy New Year!

Sharon I hope that you’ve had Larry taking photos..there’s a story and LO here. So glad you are on the mend. Take care.

I’m back into sorting out my mess...there’s been a lot of stop, starting, drooling, wondering, throwing, putting back, throwing again, moving, moving again....you get the picture lol

January update:

I had a very productive day yesterday (was planning on being iced in, which never happened, so I had to just pretend I was iced in).

Went through my photos (realized I'm missing a few school photos which I need to dig for this week) and all my albums. I have nearly 40 albums and only 1 was 100% complete. Some only need a date label on the spine or a title page/end page, but others are missing pictures or journalling. I'm the worst!
I made a check box list for each scrapbook and will start completing the albums. I already completed 1992 (date label for spine, title page/end page and moved the pages into a nicer binder).

Yay me!

I need to stop and make some cards today, but then will be back to scrapbooks next weekend.

I have no idea how many pages I did in 2019 - I didn't do a good job counting or keeping track. I am going to say 100 but could be a bit more or less.

My goal for January is to do 12.

I did a fun tiny album yesterday and posted in in the IC challenge. I so need to catch up on my historical marker visits - we are still doing them, but I haven't scrapped any in a while.

Sharon - a bunch of hugz to you sweet girl - I know this is a tough thing to go through.

Hugz to you all!

I have been working on the same "type" of project! I have about 45 albums, some are complete and some need a few pages yet ... I decided to start with 2019 and work backwards. My goal is to completely finish 2016 - 2019 this year! I can do it.

For 2019, I have 62 pages that need to be done to finish the year --- not including my France/Italy trip. I figure I'll be working on that for awhile . My Goal is to complete 2019 by end of February and then start on finishing 2018.

First up, my Girls trip to Savannah, GA ... 8 layouts left and I'll have
Jan - July 2, 2019 done!

Wishing everyone a Scrappy Good Week

My printer has run out of pink ink and I won’t be able to get any until after our trip so I won’t be posting anything until March!
I have all the base papers done!

This last week has been pretty miserable for me since I got a whopping case of the flu, but I felt better this morning and decided to finish up a layout from Windsor Castle. I was able to use items #17 (3 circles) and #18 (brads) from the Scrapbook List Inspiration challenge.

Sharon, happy to hear you are on the mend and can type after just a couple of weeks. Hope the healing process continues at a fast pace with you back at full speed soon!

Jayne, it was fun reading how you are getting yourself organized! I have no tips on organizing stickers as I have gotten rid of the few old ones I had, now only keep a few that go with collections. Stickers were never my thin, new lets talk ribbon and flowers!

since graduating to flatter pages I don't use and need to purge more flowers and ribbon.

Cheryl, glad you are on the mend! The flu is no fun!

I fear for my goal for January...the move seems to be looming ever closer and being more of a "for sure" deal by the end of January so...a packing I will be!! Down to the last items!

Sharon, sewflake, please don’t mention ribbon, I have a massive drawer full, I am really trying to use some but I will never get through the amount I have, I have to miss out the aisle with ribbon in joanns and Michaels to prevent temptation!

Hello -

May I join the scrappiness fun? I really need something like this to get me motivated to get back into scrapbooking. I used to be a full 12X12 page scrapbooker but these days I'm more into pocket scrapbooking. I have a nearly 11 year old niece who's very active (since birth actually ha! ) so that's what my subject will be most of the time.

Since we are almost 1/2 way through January - I think I want to start with a small goal (then I'll be extra excited when I exceed it right?) so lets go for 8 layouts (I'm thinking 4 two-page spreads maybe?)

Here’s my ribbons all now tidy. I also have jars on my dresser full of remnants.

And let’s not talk about washi tape..lol. I had a messy drawer of tapes and dimensional and foam tapes....I’m purging a lot of those as I have way too much..eek.

I went through all of my alphas yesterday...3 massive boxes left and so many large chipboard ones. Why I bought several packets of the same I don’t know...maybe I thought I’d need more vowels lol. If anyone would like some large chipboard alphas I’m happy to mail a pack...I have about 4 packs to give away...lol. Some are coloured and some require painting or covering.

Ugh, well ... I'm half way done and that's where it stopped since I went into scrapping-mode last week and this. I do need to get back to organizing because it would be good to have it done.

I love your washi and ribbon organization. I watched a cool enamel dot organization YT video today that I'm considering. She put them together by color which would be easier to use than sorting through packages?!

Jayne, love to see the headway you are making with your organization.
Ribbon to me is a huge dilemma, I love the space saved by taking the ribbons off spools to sort by color. On the other hand it requires a little "digging" thru tall clear jars to get the one you want.

I find the hardest things to organize are the items you have but a hand full of, like enamel dots, wood icons, brads... I have some but it is hard finding the right size container to put them in without "loosing" the container!!! Often they are too little or too big to fit what I have!
Wonder if I started a smorgasbord bin with the criteria that every scrap page has at least one item from that bin to use it up!!! To much to toss too little to pass on to others.

I will have to take a look at some YT vids to see what ideas others have come up with.

Keep going, the purge is almost done!!!

Half way done is a good place to be too!!!

Thanks......I started yesterday storing my embellishments including enamel dots by colour. I cut them up into strips if in a multi coloured pack. I had previously done it that way but they had got into a mess. I had sequins everywhere yesterday but phew they are now done sorted by colour. Well except the black and whites that somehow seemed to stick together and after 15 mins trying to sort them I gave up

I did find lots of page protectors and lots of scrapbook templates. Not sure who had put them there

Have fun

Stepping way outside my comfort zone and attending my very first crop next weekend with hopes to get nephew's 2018 album finished if there's nothing to distract me at home. I'm a little nervous but mostly excited to see others' work and hope to be inspired to get back to scrapping instead of cardmaking all the time

Welcome Laura Jean, I’m a newbie too, I’ve been stopped in my tracks as my pink ink has run out and I won’t have any new ones until I collect them from my sons in the UK.
I’m chomping at the bit to get started, so annoying as I have a box of them from my old printer but my DH decided to get rid of it even though it still worked as he wanted an A3 printer.

There’s not been a lot of purging Jan...more tidying up and moving lol. The poppets did take some Xmas stamps and punches today which surprised me but DIL1 said they would use them. I tried to offload some other stuff but she wouldn’t buy into it

Welcome to our newbies! Glad to have everyone here. Also glad to see Sharon is able to type and feel more like herself. I’ve been thinking and praying for you my dear.
We have had a wild month. After the unplanned major plumbing construction my basement is about 60% cleaned up. Dust is an amazing thing...just gets everywhere. My craft room is unfortunately in the biggest of the mess department still. This weekend will be my first two days off in a row this month so I hope to get somewhere with that.
So the plumbers finished last Thursday, my microwave went out on Thursday night. We had a tornado go through our property on Friday!!! Hello 2020!!!
All people and animals fine. Only shingles off my roof and minor damage to outside things except for the trees. We lost about 17 huge trees. Most just pulled up by the root balls. Some of those root balls are 3-4 feet deep. Impressive what wind can do! So more cleaning inside and outside....the scrapping will start out this year with some interesting layouts!!! But very, very thankful... it’s all just stuff. Could have been so much worse.

Jayne is there any schools 5at might like some stamps etc? I see you are having floods now, hope it’s putting out the fires! Are you ok where you are?

Amy you sounds as if you’ve had a rough time with such awful weather, as you say it could have been so much worse!

Hello Spring by princessp1971 - at Splitcoaststampers

I have to say I am loving these Scrap list inspiration challenges. Ribbon is my favorite embellishment so I am trying hard not to have 1 in all my combinations. This page the pictures are from last year but I am so ready for spring to get here I thought they would make a great page for me to have around until spring gets here this year.

My combination is 1-8-20 ribbon photo that is not 4x6 and flowers

Talking Hello Saturday

It's 34 degrees here and snow ... perfect day to be "stuck" in the Scrap Room! I have 32 pages done for January Woohoo! My MOJO has really kicked in lately and I've been scrapping every night! Probably because I'm leaving for a busy 5 weeks out next Tuesday and so it gives me a deadline. Crazy, I'm always more motivated by a deadline ....

I have 6 more pages and I'll have January - July 18, 2019 done. That leaves me 58 pages to finish 2019 albums (not including my France/Italy Trip) and my goal is to have that done by end of March. It might be tight as I'm out the next 5 weeks?! But ... I have a plan. The first 2 weeks I'm too busy "hopping" cities to scrap but starting Feb 1, I want to play along with "LOAD" (LayOut A Day) Challenge so I'm going to take a bag of Scrap supplies with me on the 2nd half of the trip to scrap during those next 3 weeks ... Thank goodness Southwest allows (2) bags free

I'm going to upload to the gallery this weekend! But first, I have 3 pages laid out and I AM going to finish my Stamp Re-Org Project

Wow Amy you have had a lot happening. Sorry to hear about the storm but as you say it’s just stuff and glad you are ok. Dust and sand...does get everywhere...we know about that living near the beach plus this house was only built over 7 years ago and boy did we have builders dust...it seemed as though it hung around for years lol.

Jan, I thought about schools but I’m not throwing heaps as I only started buying stamps and dies about 3 years ago. I never used them before that as I scrapbooked. The ones I am throwing I’ve got a couple of ladies on this site who would love them so I’m making some parcels to send to the States in a couple of weeks. It may cost me in postage but it’s once off and I know one lady will love everything I’m sending....there’s lots of little goodies lol.

Yes there are floods in Qld but they’ve had drought for 4 years so they are celebrating. NSW where the fires are also had rain and they are also happy. They need more. We just had a shower over here in the West...it’s been warm and humid. Today is about 30 degrees..just beautiful.

I had to make a sympathy card last night for a friend..it was challenging finding space on my table but it was wonderful to go to my bookcases and find items so easily. All are sorted by colour. I’m loving it. I should be finished...fingers crossed..by the end of this month..whoohoo...half of the room done. I’ll post photos once it’s done. Even hubby is on board and encouraging me lol.

Lela, you are my scrappy hero lol.

Hugs to you all. Happy weekend

My one layout I managed to complete this week looks paltry compared to Lela's massive total, but I'm still recovering from the flu, so it's a huge accomplishment for me - LOL!

Let's Explore Some More

Wow, my last post looks like a mess! I guess this is what SCS means when they said they're having some issues following a software update.

Okay, I finally managed to get my previous post (#77) to look normal. Hopefully the issues are now resolved!

Hi Ladies!

I know I have been MIA for months. I wish it weren't the case. I totally blew it in 2019 with probably less than 10 pages done. I'm so disappointed in myself. I had a stressful job that took up all of my free time.

My job ended in November, but here we are about to move yet again. I hope to be back in the swing of things in a couple of months and be able to participate again.

Just wanted to let you all know that I am thinking of you and miss chatting with you all!
