After spending an amazing week enjoying the company of my SUGAR BEAR (and her parents of course)... I am glad to be back in the pantry and my fall creations.
Hello scrappy ladies! Surfing the web and thought to myself.

I liked Patti's Brother and Sisters page so much I lifted that one too and used it for the Stash Buster challenge this week! Thanks for the inspiration!

I see I have not kept here this month. I have be scrapping away and I see several others have been too.... and getting them posted. Hope to remedy that soon.
have you ever had a moment where you thought, "hmmm, I don't know how to get started?" well, I had that tonight but I've pulled out several sets of photos that have inspired me and I have no plans this weekend and less pressure brings MOJO so....
here's to a Scrappy Saturday/Sunday for all of us!

I'm hoping for this Thursday being my magic scrappy day. Haven't scrapped yet this month, and have tons of things going on through Wednesday, but then I get a break on Thursday. Now I just need to conserve enough energy that I don't sleep all Thursday morning while the kids are at school and so get nothing done!
I can whole heartedly relate to both Cheryl and Lela's time and mojo! It took me TWO DAYS to finish this weeks Stash Buster! One day for each page...major distractions and ho-hum moments! I'll be heading to MSU so, if you post something, I may not comment on it until I return!
I like these pages. I was wondering what the Court of Honor was about since DGS has one on Monday. I asked him what it was after seeing your page and he says, Oh you can come because I'm getting a whole bunch of merit badges. Gee thanks for telling me now. It's the first thing he's invited me too this year! Usually he only wants my DH there!
After leaving my house on Monday morning & not arriving back until late this afternoon, I'm thrilled to be HOME!
First plan: SLEEP (at least I'm sleeping in tomorrow) Second plan: Scrapbook (the rest of the weekend) Third plan: At least one picnic, it's 70's here and sunshine, beautiful Fall days so I need to enjoy them while they're here
I hope all of you have FUN plans for this weekend!

**well, I had to add a "1B" and do a 5Mile Walk workout. Our Insurance Company is really pushing Healthy Living Options and I signed up for one of their programs (while it's still voluntary, LOL) . It's been a good process, lots of helpful little changes. I had a great first month, added lots of workout minutes but some days, oooohhhh
I need to finish a paper for class and a few house items and then tonight I'm scrappin'! Another awesome Scrap the Stash Challenge Ann, I hope to get to it tonight. I pulled out my box of rub ons ....

Terry, it's basically a Pack Meeting for the older boys. No games, just awards, progress and advancement. Our unit has had leader issues (people moving) and we haven't had a Court of Honor in a year!

Hello to a New Week! How was everyone's weekend? Mine was just as planned ... a little extra sleep, scrap time and a picnic to enjoy the warm temps and the pretty colors!
I hope I'll get some time this week as well to get out, it's supposed to be "prime color" week here in Northeast Ohio but I sure do still see ALOT of green?

Returned last night from MSU-Homecoming/Parents Weekend. Had a wonderful visit with my DD! Enjoyed the parade, the game (go Green!) and found a couple of new restaurants! Had a very colorful drive (there and back), love Fall!! Hope to scrap some of the photos soon! Need to catch up on some cleaning then hope to scrap!! Loved peeking in on everyone's layouts!

So sad I didn't scrap at all this month, but I am going to try to come back in October and crank out some layouts! We went to court today for our foster kids' permanency hearing and it ended up being continued until after the new year, but we are for sure keeping the kids until then. I guess I need to just figure out my new life with four kids . . . and start eating better so I have more energy to deal with them AND do some scrapbooking!

Good luck with your foster kids hearing! I'll be thinking of you and wishing you all the best! Give yourself plenty of time to settle in to your 'new life' ~everything will fall in to place.
I've decided I'm going with quick and easy dinners from now on...but healthy (too many health issues with my family). I'm hoping it'll be easy on the budget and downsizing; cooking for 3 instead of 4 and sometimes two instead of three. Soon to be empty nesters! The time is going to go by way too fast! :(
I'm finishing the month with a total of 16 layouts (4 short of my goal...oh well). Easter - The Hunt See No Evil & Snow Shadows

I ended up with 29 pages for the month with very few if any posted here. I will post a few after my school run with the latest pages in the October thread. Of course those need to have the finishing touches put on, dried, and photographed first.
