Hello Okemos, MI! I'm here for a 3 day crop. I was supposed to arrive about 3 as I had the day off but I'm sure you all saw the news today and I have customers impacted. It's all good though, as I will still be ready by tomorrow to get started scrapping.
Happy Friday

Wow Patti - my mind boggles at the amount you two produced! Amazing!
Lela, sounds fun to go to a 3 day crop.
Thanks for the encouraging comments on my pages.

Looking forward to your uploaded pages Lela. I love going to crops myself and have a great deal of fun! If I plan right, I get lots of pages done too!!
Here is task 3 for the progressive challenge wedding + 40
I have several more pages that I need to post to catch up for the month.

Sharon, I absolutely agree! Planning is the key for me. I have a Crop packing list of must have and then I make a list of pictures I am taking so I can grab paper packs that could go with those. It works for me, LOL.
One of the gals just got some new Cricut cartridges at Menards for $10 and they were fun. I need to watch the ads I guess, I didn't know they carried Cricut? I don't live close but for $10, if they were something I liked I would drive the 35 minutes maybe

Menards for Cricut?? Get out! I wouldn't have known they carried them either but then there is not a store anywhere close to me so it doesn't matter. For $10 I would travel 35 minutes for some!! Heck I have to travel 45 minutes just to go to a scrapbook store!! One east of me and one west into Alabama, they are both worth the travel time, granted I go once a year to each of them.......
I signed my DH up to get the Menards ads and asked him to watch for Cricut cartridge sales, LOL. I am hoping I don't have to wait to Black Friday to get them for $10!

I finally got some scrapping done and I can kinda feel the mojo flowing! Hope it lasts until I get 10 layouts done . . . Anyway, here are my two layouts.
Am trying to get some pages done for the Stash buster challenges this weekend. Am getting excited for VSBN in November!
Happy Saturday
Me too Sharon! I'm just adding some embellishments to the pages I did at the Crop, get those photo'd and in the book and see what additional pictures I need to "pull out" for the sneak peek ideas

Great pages! I will get out to the gallery soon and leave some love. I've gotten a few more pages done, but when I tried to upload them, they were sideways, so I will have to remember to do that when it isn't Sunday, or remember on a payday to pay.
The thing I am a little sad about is the lack of scrap booking supplies around. I was really spoiled in Las Vegas, a few great scrap booking stores. I have a couple more places to look around here, but so far I haven't found much. Seems like online is where to find stuff, dsp ect, but I really like picking things out in person. Lucky we still have Stampin Up! and I signed up again, and Close To My Heart. I also found Fun Stampers Journey, but I haven't ordered anything from them.
So where are all of you finding supplies?

I live in a VERY rural area. When I want supplies, I'm either traveling to a city that has a Michael's or Hobby Lobby (every once in a while I'll go to a Joann's) or I'll order through my CTMH or Stampin' Up reps. There are some smaller shops but they are at least an hour away (one way), so stick to the online sites for the majority of my supplies.

You've been a busy bee, you'll have that goal met in no time! Looks like you've been having fun! Your pages are great. I love how you matted your photos in the water adventure and Kayak pages. All of them are lovely.

If I never buy another thing ( except for adhesive) I have supplies to last me to the next millennium! I even have a hoarders collection of red line double side tape! And yet, I keep ordering from SU! Every month. I have to get their in colors, don't i? It has to stop! LOl

Val, I was just thinking that the other day. I used to love to stop at Archivers and browse (and shop). Of course, now that they're closed, my stash is actually going down so I suppose it's a good thing in some ways. I esp miss their $5 ScrapMania nights since I could go with friends and scrap.
I order from Close to My Heart. I'm terrible at color matching so I do enjoy that they match the colors and the patterns with paper packs, LOL. The only other option around here is the "big box" stores and I just don't seem to shop well for scrap supplies there other than adhesive.

I have no limit of where I find scrapping supplies!! There is M's J's and HL in town, good shops 45 minutes away (one East and 1 West of me) for those time when shopping in person is a must for things I can't find at the box stores. I shop a lot online, much to my DH's dismay, for Cricut cartridges, Kits, and scrapbook.com. M's and J's have online shopping with free shipping, thats were I do my big ticket item purchases because I can't always find them in the stores! Plus you can use coupons!
Reached my goal at the end of the week, then surpassed it.
I really couldn't stand looking a the 'never used' so I decided to post something easy this week! I hope you can play along...paper or digi scrappers are welcome!
Here's one more page for October and unless we have a very quiet trick or treat time, this will be my last page for the month.
Home Sweet Home
This is for A Picture is worth 1000 words challenge!
