Scrappin' Challenge 2017 Can you believe this is our 9th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2016 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2017! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2017! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.

Whew.... New Month! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE NOVEMBER, but I am so glad December is here, between vacations, holiday dinners, sick grand-babies, Catering Church socials, my civic duties, Home, Craft Classes and Family stuff, my mother was not feeling well and my daughter-in-law spent time in the hospital with heart issues, I AM SO READY FOR A NEW SEASON!
SO this month (DEC) my goal will be 10
and my total for the year so for is 55.
Only 9 pages left to go to reach my yearly goal. I also need to finish up my dad's calendar for Christmas and I would also like to do at least 10 blog posts. I won't reach my blog post goal, but it will be really close (I'd have to do 21 posts to reach that goal and I don't think that will be possible, but who knows?!).
Hope everyone's December is off to a good start. I am almost done with my Christmas shopping! How about you all?

What started out as a crafting weekend turned into my best friend saying "WANT TO GO TO VEGAS? I GOT A ROOM FOR $4.00 a night!" So guess where I went...? LOL... Yup, I will trade anything for a weekend away with the hubby/boyfriend.
I have my card class tonight, so excited to be getting back into teaching and training, I have missed it, just not sure if i will go back to Stampin' Up or finish getting my own business up and running. There seems to be a crafting want and desire in our canyon community here that is giving me hope and drive to make my dream come true that has been in the making for about 20 years now.
Scraplift Challenge is up , having troubles posting my layout though. Anyone else having problems?
YES! Posting VSBN was just a "nightmare" ... I'm wondering if it's all the "ads" that are now in the threads? It's definitely something that's impacting uploading

Well...not what I expected to have to scrap into my December Album but I had an unexpected trip to the hospital. All good, it ended up with just being a pulled muscle in my chest, but it was scary ....and it's taking some time to get back to 100%
I'm off on a business trip until 1218 but ... THEN... I'm home through the first of the year and am so, so looking forward to the that time already. I'm hoping to get all of 2017 finished as you know that's been my goal but ... wow, that's going to take ALOT of scrappin' .... even if I don't make it, I'll be really close which is fun

Did I miss December???
I have been busy with hubby now that he is home from the skilled nursing center.. whew that man keeps me busy with appointments either taking him to them or making them on phone, in home nursing, and everyday assistance as needed. Which is getting less, the everyday assistance that is... still lots of appointments.
I will probably miss my goal again this year but that is OK... there is always next year and I am close.
You're really close Sharon ... hopefully you'll get some extra "crafty" time you weren't planning for and maybe a few pages will be easier than expected

I hope your December weekend is going well. Today I'm doing a "mini-reorg" in my Scrap Office because my desk is a disaster ... I want to work on more of my December Album pages and of course a few scrap pages if I'm super motivated
I think however I'm going to run over to the Pet store as they are having Pet Santa pictures and get a Bella picture with Santa, haha! I think my family will laugh and it's perfect for my December album ... so maybe a bath for the dog before we go to see Santa? ROFL

I finished writing and addressing all my Christmas cards so those will go in the mail tomorrow, yay! Tonight I'm going to finish up some cards I started and finish wrapping the presents that I've already purchased.
I have just a couple more gifts I want to pick up ... well order, I've done 99% online. It's so convenient.
I'm looking forward to next weekend as my Craft space mini-reorg was completed last night ... I plan to spend the rest of December in Scrap Paradise, LOL!

I have 3 of the 5 pages done for December now to find time between Dr visits and company and home therapy (all for hubby) to get them posted! I may need to get an iPad next year if we continue to have such a busy doctor schedule....that way I can do the posting while waiting at Dr offices!!!
Yay, the weekend! I'm glad to be home this weekend as it's the start of a month "at home"....I'm SO EXCITED!
I'm only on Day 3 of my First December Album so today is the day I want to get caught up. I have the photos and the notes, just need to get them in the album. I realize that some scrappers finish theirs later to avoid the "crunch" but i feel like if I don't do this album now, I won't finish it ... ??
Off to USPS for getting some mail out and then for a stop at the Little Candle Boutique in town, it's decorated so cute! Fun place at the holidays. My plan is tonight for hubby and I to head out to look at Christmas Lights

Sunday night, I scraped about 10. LOs for a 1987 trip we took. I wanted to get them done so DD could see the album while she is home at Christmas. I will try to photo and upload some of them, if I have time. But anyway I more than reached my goal! Yay!

I got "side-tracked" from my goal to finish 2017 ... I'm doing a December Daily Album so I have been scrapping little stories every day ... up to day 15. YES! This is the first time I've ever done an album like this, it's been fun. I'll be better prepared next year if I do another one. The "trick" is to keep it simple and use limited supplies. Since I wasn't planning to do this until last minute I just pulled out everything I could find ... makes it take too long. I'll know for the future :o

Hi ladies! I haven't been in my craft room much, except to make things for our elf on the shelf. I have done 2 pages for the month so far - so still 7 to go. I picked out some pictures and layouts to work on today and tomorrow since I am all caught up on Christmas stuff (yay!). Still aiming to reach my goal.
