I plan to scrapbook today! Tanya, my son's school is having a virtual ceremony on June 1, but they said they are trying to put something together for late July if the restrictions are lifted by then. We'll see. Just ordered my son's cap and gown because the school set up a mock graduation where the kids can take a picture by themselves and with their family on a stage that has been set up and decorated to look like a graduation. The school will provide two free 8"x 10" photos per kid. Of course, we will all be wild haired and I will have ombre hair, but it's a nice thought!

I'm cranking through the VSBN challenges, and might even post a second challenge, that's how fun they are! Here's a layout I completed for my own challenge, using all three options: something transparent, decorative trim, and vertical stripes.

Hello All,
I had a pretty good April and managed to get 33 pages done so my YTD is 54. I didn't get many of them uploaded, but finished is better than nothing.
I will set my May goal at 15 since I'm getting a late start.

Absolutely LOVING the VSBN challenge ideas! You ladies are so darn creative!! I plan to do every single one of them! Just got some pictures printed so hopefully this weekend will cooperate and I'll get some scrap time in. As much as I want to get started right now, I was up with a sick dog last night and need to sleep so I'm not too pooped when I have more time to play.

Happy Mothers Day weekend everyone. I scrapped yesterday and plan to head into my craft room in a tic....the poppets came to see us earlier today for lunch and catchup for Mothers Day which was nice. We are allowed up to 10 people indoors or out with social distancing. Youngest boy is coming up tomorrow to have dinner with us and I am sure the other 2 will call. It is certainly a different get together this year but I never have expectations as the boys are so hit and miss but improving as they get older LOL

Time to post my page I did yesterday and think about the next one. Have fun and keep safe

Jayne I’m hoping I can start on my scrap page if I can buy some photo paper, unless someone wants to think of a challenge we can get ready before hand, papers etc, I’d be up for that, mind you I’m not good at quick thinking when I’m making a card.

Better not do painting stuff else my iPad with be covered , I made so much mess yesterday, good job I bought more baby wipes!

One of my pieces, lots of layers as I wasn’t happy so covered the whole thing in white chalk paint and then took it off with stencils

Looks quite crinkled even though it’s supposed to be wet or dry mixed media paper

Yes, Jayne , count me in. Right now I am working on Tanya’s VSBN challenge.
Then, I have another one for you, my own and Amy’s to work on. So fun to have so many! Loving it! Also, I have to do my technique challenge. I am thinking just some watercolor swished across the page or something. On the video She painted on black, then put a photo on it. Very striking, it not thinking I want to scrap on black.

Well, lunchtime, then I plan on finishing a layout.

Online school ended for my senior yesterday and he turned in his textbooks and music and uniform today! Picks up his cap and gown Friday and then I am dragging him all over to snap pics with friends and family, which will be digi scrapped when we're done taking pics, lol! I still have a shoebox FULL of pics he needs scrapped....! School ends for my daughter Friday. Maybe then we'll have more time....? Or maybe then I'll really lose my mind trying to find ways to keep them busy without all the normal "fun" summer stuff we do!

I’m here Sharon and just chilling out in the sunshine on the deck. We had a bad night last night and my sinus infection was bugging me. I’m on meds and it’s improving. I’m going to try and work out my window and finish Cheryl’s challenge. I like to do them in order lol.

Jan, so glad that you found photo paper, albeit expensive.

alright, it's official, I've snapped.... hahaha.... I got some digi pages done tonight of my son's band trip to Disneyland and called it a night about midnight. Every time I'd start to doze off, I'd wake up thinking about another thing that "has" to get scrapped. After 45 mins of that, I got up and turned the computer back on. I'm quitting at 13 new pages tonight, at 320 am. holy cow............. But fortunately, with digital, I can just "add duplicate page" and swap out the pictures. Good grief....

I’m lurking in the background. Only have one page done so far this month, but I will kick it in gear. It’s such a crazy time right now in the world. Our hospital system announced last Friday that they were going to furlough and eliminate positions across the whole system and every place will be affected...we are talking thousands of jobs! So with that went my mojo last weekend and we are still waiting to hear what they are doing with my department. Sure hope we get word tomorrow. I don’t want to go through another weekend in the unknown. Last week was Nurse Week and we are being thanked for our heroism and this week they are handing out pink slips. It’s making my head spin! I know I’ll be fine. The Lord has a plan in all of this I have no doubt about that and I’m in a better financial position than so many others I know and work with... just hard to watch how this is playing out differently in so many lives all across the world. So...if I don’t find my mojo I will be sure to leave some gallery love while I look for it.

(((Amy))).....I so hope you retain your job if that is what you want. It doesn’t make sense to me that healthcare workers are being asked to leave right now. They are the people we need to retain their jobs. It is so hard at present..so many unemployed and economies going pear shaped. I hope you find some peace this weekend. Big hugs.

Tanya, I wondered why you were awake and leaving love on my gallery the other day whilst I was scrapping and I thought Tanya should be in bed. You are amazing. I did your challenge on a zoom craft call last night. Will post later.

Amy I can’t believe a hospital is cutting back on staff, is it a specialised hospital?
I hope you hear soon as it’s awful not knowing, I was worried about Brexit as our eldest son works for. A German lighting company in London but now this lockdown is a worry for him.

I am still scrapping but not doing very well at any of the challenges on any of the sites I go to I can’t seem to concentrate long enough to follow a challenge I just work on things a little bit here and there.

I planned to spend the day scrapping but I'm finally coming off a migraine that hit yesterday soooo maybe not. But I have some journaling to finish for a page, and I did upload some of the digi pages I worked on that ridiculous night last week, haha.

Disneyland - I made 9 pages that look a lot like this. On pages with less photos, I added two white ovals like Mickey's buttons, and depending on the photos I moved the ovals around.
Performing - I made two pages that look exactly like this.

I got 17 paper pages done for my son today!!! Pages up til now are in my gallery, and should be in this month's gallery too...
At this exact second, my son is sorting thru all of his 12x12 pages to put them all in order. I switched him to 12x12 when he was 8 and this year I've been cramming them in where ever there was an open page slot, haha... I'll try and update my signature tonight. I am positive that's a record for me.
