Where is everyone! Hot, here. 90 something here feels like 100 something according to weather guy on tv. Went to wedding Saturday , then a funeral this afternoon. Quite a few days here. Wedding reception was outside in 90 + degrees. And very high winds! Decorations were blowing down.. I was glad I wore slax! LOL
What's going on?

We are in a rainy season here - little sun for several days now.
I did make a layout tonight. Not photographed yet. It is one of the VSBN sketches.

Thank you ladies for all the tips regarding colours. I was at a craft morning yesterday and intended to do a 2 page LO. I only managed to work out what I was going to do. The good news is I'm at another half day scrapping day tomorrow and hope to finish it and post. There's just not enough time in the day LOL.
It's been beautiful weather here for our winter...24 degrees, although very cold by early afternoon and evening...well to us LOL and we have our heater on in the evening.
Thanks again for the tips. Much appreciated. Happy day and scrapping. jx

I'm here! And working on scrapbook pages when my little one naps, but I have I think four layouts I haven't taken photos of yet to upload. Little mister has been sleeping a lot lately and he's cranky when he is awake...I think he's about to have a growth spurt.

So it seems like the topic of the month is random versus chronological and how to pick colors! I'm a chronological scrapper but usually have 3 to 4 albums going at the same time: yearly, kid's school album, vacation, etc. This gives me flexibility to do challenges that would otherwise not work for me. As far as colors go, I use mostly CTMH card stock and patterned paper, and I also have a set of color swatches to work from. I usually try to pick a couple of colors to coordinate with something in my photos, but I've been experimenting with just picking random color combinations! That's a challenge for me but occasionally I can make it work.

Very hot here. Just got new a/c and furnace. Just in time, because it is forecast for 100s this week-end! So, I can stay in the basement in my craft room and scrap! Now, if I could just get some mojo going. Great sketches in the challenges; I should be good to go. Just can't get going!
Where oh, where is everyone else. Are we all in this .summer slump?

Phew..that's warm and Aussie weather . Definitely scrapping weather.
I had 2 half day craft mornings this week and did very little, but I've just completed a 2 page LO which I will post tomorrow...yay. It's a little warped and drying , plus it's nearly time for bed here . I also have been in a slump...a winter slump here......since returning from our holiday. I didn't have the photos to match the sketch I wanted to do, but I've managed to make it work. I have slightly modified the sketch and hope this is ok.
I'm ready to start on another 2 pages but we have a busy weekend, so they may have to wait until next week.
Happy scrapping and keep cool.

Moments Past with friends
Moments Past with Friends by Ozpom - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
If you have read my post on the VSBN Challenge forum, you will realise that I originally did this LO as part of one of the challenges only to learn whilst posting I actually haven't met the challenge. I really must be still in holiday or dream mode this week....
All is not lost...I can confidently say that YTD I now have completed 35 and 2/8 for June. Not a lot, but I hope to do some more when I can. This month is turning into a busy one.
TFL and happy week.
I'm now going to go and give myself a good talking to...

I might scrap this week-end. I have some photos layer out. In the thinking process. Anything I get done now will be over my goal.

Hey chickadees! How's it going? Once again I have a slew of layouts to upload but my kiddo is starting to squirm around in his crib, so it looks like my naptime craft time is over for now Hope you're all getting out of your slumps! I think for me, I'm kinda always feeling a sense of urgency about my scrapping because I never know how long the baby is going to nap. So I try to get as much done as I can every time I put him down, which is making me more productive than ever. Who knew?!

Back two days and I have 2 layouts done, only one using #3 sketch, the other was for a sketch in another challenge. Now to work on #1 and maybe #2.
I said No

Hi ladies. This has been another busy month for me (I feel like a cross between a chauffeur and a ping pong ball as I drive the kids to and from summer activities), but I have some great news: we finally got a court date to finalize our adoption of our two foster kids! As of Monday, they will be a permanent part of our family! Can't believe it's finally happening after three years of delays, but am really relieved and happy. And on another note, I've been totally flaking out on scrapping this month, but I have some pictures on my desk and am feeling a little inspired, so as soon as I drop my son off at a birthday party, I am going to scrapbook.

Earlier today I finished up two that were semi complete.
This one from the crop: Play Time
This one is a bit older, I was challenging myself to do more storytelling: Big World
Thanks for looking! I really appreciate all you folks.
