I have kind of lost track of what I did in April. I did a few but no more than 5 or maybe it was 7 as I finished up a couple of albums. They only had a few pages to go. I made lots of card.
I have two layouts almost done. I will check out NSD to see what’s going on.
I won’t set a goal for May as my DGD and DGGS are moving in for a couple of weeks on Mothers Day. I won’t be doing anything in my craft room while they wait to get in an apartment towards the end of May.
I made my goal of ten pages for April. This month, I am helping my daughter finish up her sophomore year in school and am working on getting us ready for our Alaska cruise, but I really want to do all the VSBN challenges, so I will set my goal at 10 again. YTD is 21, so last month was definitely my most productive month yet!
Hello again!
This month I'm going to shoot for 20. I did three yesterday and have another two laid out, and I love VSBN so I'd like to play along. And with school getting out, this is the last time for a while I'll have a few hours a day "to myself", ha. I did just print off a stack and I still have old printed pics for my big kids so I should have plenty to do, haha.
Last month I got 11 done, putting me at 46 for the year.

And then I had one laying out and was really stumped on how to fill that space on page two, but the idea of strip journaling from VSBN Challenge #10 answered it! Yeay!! Backyard Campout

We are home from Florida! It was the worst trip ever...we had 3 tires blow out on our boat trailer (& not at the same time) along I95! My DH changed 2 of them & I called for roadside service for the last one because it was after dark. I hope this never happens again.
Between today & tomorrow I have to get all my craft supplies unpacked then I should be ready to scrap by Sunday. The challenges look so cute & I have a few ideas already!
Welcome home, Lou Ann! Sorry about your blow outs! How long were you there? You do this every year? We usedto go, but just to visit our DD and family when they lived in Pensacola, usually around Thanksgiving.

Thank you! We've been going since 2015. It started out as 2 weeks then each year was longer. In 2018 we bought a house. Now we go for 4 months in the winter & a month in the fall. We've been taking our boat down since 2021. This was the first issue we've ever had & it was because of some other work that was done on the trailer before we came home. Hopefully no more problems!
Soo I thought I would look for photos to print for VSBN, thinking big, annual things, like birthdays and Easter...and as I looked, I started thinking maybe I already had some of these printed...and I pulled down my son's photo box and discovered 52 events, printed, waiting for me to scrap. OHHHKAY. I got to work! It was a fantastic day for me, ha. I have uploaded the first five I did today and tomorrow I will upload the next three. Nothing else got done today, but I got some scrapping for this boy, spanning the years! ha... 2009-2022. And! he's excited, so that's extra happy. So nice when your work is appreciated!!!
Also, the first four of them fit VSBN Challenges! Thank you!!
Wow, Tanya! That is a lot of photos sitting there ready to be played with. Since things went digital, I haven’t been printing off photos until I need them. I print them on my little Cannon Selphy. It makes it more manageable, but More difficult to know what you have scrapped and what you haven’t! Sometimes, if, event has a lot of photos, I made a special file for an event, like Christmas or a wedding. Then, when I feel I have scrapped it all, I rename the file “event name scrapped,” or done. LOL
Great participation so far on the challenges! Happy National Scrapbooking Day!
Sharon,
You are hitting it out of the park this month!!! I will MAKE time to scrap this weekend and count the layouts I did. I did a few pages for my son's Eagle Scout work. I have to do his Court of Honor and then I think I am pretty much done his Scout book. I do have to print some pictures for that. One of the pages kit I ordered for the eclipse arrived so I will get that together and add pictures. I bought two kits only because it fell on my mother's birthday so I took extra pictures. We had a small gathering in her yard. We were not in the path of totality. We were at 80-90% and it was pretty cool.

I would love to see some of your layouts. Great that you got to go to a eclipse gathering. Great photo op for sure!
We've been doing yard work all week but last night I did organize some photos I printed a long time ago. It's raining here today so I'm going to put together some layout to take to a craft day tomorrow with my friends. Maybe I'll even get a page or two done later.
Pia, I hope you feel better today & can get some scrapping done! Getting cleaned up is always a plus.
I was going to work on the challenges yesterday but instead decided I'd better organize my stray photos & memorabilia before I missed something. I've been dreading doing this but was so I glad I did. I found an entire shoebox full of photos! Some of them are ones I thought I had lost when my PC crashed!! I was thrilled! I don't think I'll have many more photos to print...LOL!
After that, I got ready for today's craft day including one layout for Challenge #1. After getting up at 5:30, I decided to get it done. I have a couple of other things packed that should keep me busy.
I didn’t feel up to scrapping yesterday either. We did get to the cemetery where my in-laws and paternal grandparents are buried but I wasn’t feeling well on the ride home. I came home and got back in bed. My husband got my mother home and I rested most of the day.
today my kids are having a bbq at my mother’s house. I told them that I I didn’t want to make any decisions about today and make sure my mother was happy with whatever they planned. She loves having everyone over and when they cook. I do have to go grocery shopping real quick though.
Happy Mother’s Day

Pia, I'm sorry to hear you're still not feeling well especially on Mother's Day. At least you can rest easy knowing your kids are making your mom happy. Get better soon!
Thanks Lou Ann,
I did feel better after taking more of a rest this morning. So I was able to celebrate with them! My mother had a good day, so did I!
I hope everyone had a nice day too. I will scrap this week! I am not sure when, I am going out 3 nights! I have two Red Sox games. One, I am hosting a work event. The 2nd my husband and I are going to. I had tickets for Thursday and then the work event was scheduled for Wednesday. We can all walk to Fenway park from work. It will be fun.
