Guess what?!! Charlsanne is at the hospital having the baby! I called her about an hour ago concerning something else and she said she was at the hospital. They should be doing a Csection around 3 or so. I'll post an update when I hear something.

We didn't talk long but she didn't say anything was wrong. I think she posted a couple days ago that the dr office thought she was having contractions last time she was there for the monitoring. I'll update as soon as know more. Her mom is supposed to call me with an update.

Welcome to SCS Carole! You're going to love it here! Everyone is so friendly and encouraging! As Anavon just said, you don't have to post in the gallery, but it is so encouraging to have everyone ooooh and aaaah over your LO's! Here is a link to tell you how to upload to the gallery.
Uploading to the Gallery
Also, you should go to the home page and scan down the right side of the page. There is a column that is headed by the title, "Current Conversation" then "Stamping Stuff." Right under that it says, "Start Here." Click on that link. It will take you to a page that has tons of threads to go to to explain what goes on here at SCS and how! Hope that this helps and that you love it here as much as we do!
If you have any specific questions, just post them here and I'm sure someone will jump in and volunteer an answer. __________________

Shadowed Treasures

Part 1. (The Color Part!) ~ If your were a Groundhog who saw your shadow then need scrap with winter colors, for six more weeks of winter, but.... if you were a Groundhog who didn't see your shadow then you need to scrap with Spring Colors.
Part 2. (The Shadow Part) ~ The other part of the Challenge is to use one of the Shadow Stamping Techniques somewhere on your page or Layout. The shadow technique is very simple, First you stamp your image in a lighter color on your card stock then you stamp the same image in a darker coordinating color slightly (about 1/8 ) off the first image to create your main image. This will add depth to your page or LO.
Part 3. (The Treasure Part!) ~ The Bonus part of this challenge is to use photos of Family members who are or were Cancer Survivors.... Even if it was only for a few Days, the memories will last a life time.
As you can see we did not see our shadows here at our house.... It was pouring when we got up. Here is my Sample: MY SISTER - The Survivor!

Ok, January didn't work out so well for me. But, I did get my desk somewhat cleaned so I'm going for 5 pages again this month. I'm hoping the big snow storm headed our way this weekend will get me to stay inside and crop!

While I have been anxiously waiting to hear about Charlsanne, I decided to give Jenn's Monday "Made in Minutes" Challenge a try.
I allotted myself 15 minutes to complete the challenge tonight.... That was fun,  !

I just wanted to whine at people who will understand. Holy heavens, HIT SAVE!!! I just did two digi pages and accidentally closed it without saving! And then when it asked "do you want to save these before closing" Did I take that chance?! Of course not, I hit Close, when I meant CANCEL! argh.............. Back to work..............

Here is my second page for February. I did it according to week one of the 52 week Thursday challenge. Your page had to include 4 of the following:
1. A Theme or your "Mission Statement"

I actually beat my goal by one last month, yeah!!!! This month I would like to triple my goal and do 15 layouts (we will see since it is a short month!)

So sorry! Boy CAN I understand! I lost quite a few pages..even after that I still did it but mine was cause I'll open up a file and the program will shut down. So I try really really hard to remember to save what I'm working on each time I make a change or addition and BEFORE I open up a new file! __________________
