Issue with Scor-Buddy
I have had my Scor-Pal for years and got a Scor-Buddy a couple of months ago. I seriously love this thing, perfect size for my desk, but one thing is driving me nuts! The little clicky thing, (very technical term, lol) that holds the bone folder in the holding area doesn't always hold. I have a white desktop and if I don't put the bone folder in the holder immediately, it gets lost on my desk. When it pops out on its own, it is really annoying. It gets lost on my desk and it takes me forever to find it. This has never once happened on my Scor-Pal, even when taking it to get togethers. The first, and only, time that I took my Scor-Buddy, I lost the bone folder when it popped out on its own. Has anybody else had this problem? Or maybe I just got a Buddy with a bad clicky thing. Thanks!

write or call the company and explain to them the problem - when they were having the problem of the scoring tool they were very quick in sending a replacement...........I am sure thy will have a solution........I have a mini one and have had no problems with securing the tool........... hope that helps!

I agree. Call the ScorPal company. You will get to talk to a real human and their customer service is outstanding!
This is a company that stands by it's product and wants happy customers. I this day and age it is refreshing to know that there are companies that value their customers.
Good luck-know that your problem will be resolved quickly.

I have both and love them both. Leave the small one at a friend's house where I stamp once a week. Have been using both for years with no problems. Sounds like you got a defective one. Contact Scor-Pal. I bet they'll stand behind it for you.

Issue with Scor-Buddy
can't really help you with your Scor-Pal. . . but I saw the cutest printed Duct Tape at Office Max that you put a strip around your bone folder to find it on your white desk.

Honest to goodness. . .here in the "Nort country" we have Decorator Duct Tape. It's the cutes thing DPELHAM! And you are right, it will hold your Scor-Tool in place too. ;D

Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I have emailed Diana using Tami's link. And Pix, thanks for the suggestion on the Duck Tape! We have several colored/patterned rolls around here somewhere, I will wrap a small bit around my scoring tool to help me find it.

Just a quick update, I heard back from Diana very quickly and today I received my replacement Scor Buddy. Not only did she replace my Scor Buddy, she sent me an extra scoring tool and a mat! How's that for GREAT customer service!!!
