Default Hershey Bar covers

I am looking for a cover for a hershey bar the normal size bar. I got a tutorial and have misplaced it. What I remember is that the paper is scored on the left and right so that it creates a box like space then it is selaed in the back. The bottom is crimped 5 times and it has a band. I made them for a horseshow and now would like to make for a craft fair. I have looked at all the the other templates and tutorials and do not see the one I did before. The fair is tomorrow and I will make them there if I can find a recipe. Thought I would some of the night owls here if they remember this design.

I will check back in at before I leave to see if anyone has words of wisdom.

Thanks in advance for a help in a pinch!

Kelly

Lightbulb Pull Treat

Not sure if this is the one you were looking for, but Beate did a beautiful one a while back in the tutorials. I loved it and saved it as a Word doc. I will send it to you to try to get it to you quicker as I may not be able to look it up in time. I may be too late already as I've come to check a little late today. Anyway hope it help and I've done this correctly.

Thanks for the help ladies! Neither one is the one I saw before. I did see the pull treat one but it is different from the one I am looking for.

So what I did was cut CS 6.5 inches wide by 6 inches long. Scored at 1.5 and 1.7 on both the left and right side. Photo taped the middle seam in the back and along the bottom. Crimped 5 times on the bottom and then took a bite out of the top with the scallop punch. Cut a band and went around the middle. I made 8 and sold 5. I think it worked good!

I have seen something similar to that too. Just haven't seen it in a while. I'm glad you were able to work up something similar to what you were wanting. I usually crimp the bottom of the pull treat to keep the adhesive together a little stronger. and love hearing the oo's when they pull the ribbon. I usually give them to my kid's friends for bday gifts with some $$ attached to the candy bar. The kids are always asking how the ribbon works. )

Default Brainstorm at Kroger...

I have watched this thread to see if my "stamping buddies" would come up with something wonderful to do with candy bars. My husband is a choral music teacher, and I always try to do something with Symphony Bars for the people in his Fine Arts Complex.

While shopping at Kroger,I found some "textured" wrapping paper...a little thicker...not glossy, but sort of antique-looking. I treated myself with a Candy Bar (the one that broke on the way home!), measured the wrapper and cut covers from the wrapping paper in the same size. I used the SU Stamp that looks like the shape of a Christmas Ball made from the words to "Deck the Halls." I glued the stamped ornament to a larger silver circle and used dimensionals to raise it up, and did the same with some stamped Holly Leaves and berries. I added a few "punched" music notes, and it turned out to be cute.

My advice....eat a Hershey Bar...tear off the wrapper....and go into "stampin' mode." It always makes me feel good!

Merry Christmas,
jbw

I'm looking for a picture of three stacked candy bars each with a different color of wrapper, each a different size, stacked together. One was the large Hershey bar, then a Cadbury bar then a regular size bar. They were stacked and tied with a ribbon. Just need a picture for an idea.

Thanks
