Default bottle cap fishing lure and box

These are the instructions for the fishing lure box posted here:
fishing lures for Robbie by ltg by icensheba at Splitcoaststampers
Each box uses two pieces of cs: one is 7" x 4 3/4 " and the other is 2 1/4" x 4". The piece of acetate used to cover the front opening is 2 1/2" x 4 1/2".
The pattern is attached below in pdf. I'm sorry they aren't the most professional looking instructions and pattern found here but at this time of year, that's not where my interests lie :0)
If you have any problems with this, pm me and I'll try to help you out.

We're in MN, land of 10,000 lakes, I didn't know you had fishing lakes in Florida? This is so unique, just plain clever, and nicely done. Love all your fishing items

Default lure?

Does anyone have the instructions to make the lure for the box? That is really cute.
Thanks,
Danielle

This is so cool. Each year, our ladies group at church cook and host a dinner for the guy's for Fathers Day. We like to give each of them a little gift, and since they all love to fish, I'm thinking these lures would be perfect. Mind you, we wouldn't use beer bottle caps, but still, we could use bottle caps from soft drinks.

I did a search online and I did find this: http://www.bottlecaplure.com/

It's a link with video's about the guy who came up with the idea to make these lures and sell them. In the video's, they show close up's of the lures and they really don't look that hard make, especially if you own a Cropadile. Any tackle shop or Walmart would have the hooks and other stuff to make them. Heck, my hubby probably has everything in his 6 tackle boxes already. The man had to build a rack just to hold all of his 29 rods & reels.

If you don't have a Cropadile, you could make the holes in the caps with a ice pick and a hammer.

I'm gonna make one soon, so when I figure it out, I'll post back and give the details.

I'm also curious myself to see if they catch fish, LOL!

Thanks, Danielle. I let DH look at the instructions given on all three of the links you posted, and he said the third link was the way to go. I'll try to make one this weekend. Thanks again!

Danielle, I sure will. Found out late last night that we may have company come in for a short visit at some point over the weekend, so if I don't get one put together this weekend, it will be in the beginning of the week. I will post a pic and directions as soon as I can. I already have a bottle cap and some of the other things needed to make it.
