Could you do a pdf file for both of your great idea.

genescrapper 02-09-2008 06:14 AM

Thanks! I sent one to my son's father-in-law....he loved it, too.;)

trulyblessed 02-09-2008 06:39 AM

Didn't mean to be gender favorite here LOL...I personally do not know a male who likes chocolate. Hubby will have a tiny piece once every 2 years, but that's about it. At least I know my stash is safe :)

Arinka 02-09-2008 07:53 AM

This is adorable! TFS!

You are soooo lucky! I have to hide my chocolate from my DH. I've even threatened to buy a safe and not share the key or combination with him, just to hide my chocolate - lol! And the worst apart about is that he never gains any weight from his sweet tooth, not fair!

Oh my...I'm the one who can forgo the chocolate at our house although the M word has increased my taste for it. LOL...my DH uses the excuse that dark chocolate is now healthy...so I have to hide mine, too! ;)

Charlene, I had so much fun making one of your Chocolate Books! :D

Here's the one that I made

Cover

Rules

B'day Wishes

cookiebaker 02-13-2008 04:34 AM

Amy...So cute. Love the ribbon attachment. That's why I love SCS. I love to see how everyone puts their own "spin" on things. Lucky recipient to get your beautiful "book". TFS!!

Blessings!

Note the pdf is for the inside pages. It will say page 2 and page 3...print page 2, flip and print page 3. I've updated the tutorial to be more generic instead of specific to the one I made for Scor-Pal. Easier to follow.
Thanks!

I LOVE this but I just wanted to clarify something...do the ribbons inside the book serve any purpose or are the simply decorative? It appears the bellyband hold the book closed and in the picture the ribbons simply hang from the top of the page...Is this the case? I have grandchildren o'plenty and this will be wonderful for Easter!!! What a cute idea. I think I'll modify the chocolate rules as they are way too young to care about the calories in chocolate but a couple of those will still be cute..meted chocolate on your hands knows no age and the bit about the balance diet is funny no matter how old you are.

Sorry, yes, the ribbons are simply decorative, like bookmarks.

Just a suggestion, but you might edit this notation into your first post.

Thanks again for sharing this great project. I loved making it and even tho I couldn't find the large dk choc. bar, I just attached three mini bars.

The tutorial for the Chocolate Book has been updated to make it more generic instead of specific to the Scor-Pal sample. It should be easier to follow now. See post #12.
