Candy Wrapper
2 Attachment(s)
I found these boxes when I was doing some internet searching looking for "DIFFERENT" ideas for swaps. I am posting the directions to how to make these boxes. I made them up myself from looking at the picture I found. Hope you all love these as much as I do. I have a picture in my gallery, here is the link, hope it works.
//www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=467640&cpage=1#poststart Not sure if these will work right but here are the instructions which are not to scale. It is a word doc. I originally did it in powerpoint and copied it into word. Also as JPG file. Let me know if you have any problems with it. |

Okay, so I made a bunch of these for Valentine's Day, and I just wanted to share a quick tip. After making a mock-up so I could see how everything worked, I made a template of Step 5, where the paper is accordion folded and it's time to cut the triangles. I just took a section of the paper after I marked and cut the triangles, traced it onto stencil plastic (that I got in the quilting section of JoAnn's), and cut it out. Now when I make them, all I have to do is fold the paper accordion style, lay the template on the paper, trace the triangles, and wah-lah! The hard part is already done! Below is a picture of the template.
Hope this is helpful to anyone else! |
