Here is a You Tube video about the snowflakes. I made them for package decorations this year. Quick and easy, my kind of craft, lol. I used red vellum and Zots for the adhesive, very pretty.

Thank you very much to send You Tube video how to make snowflakes.

Guess I kind of got addicted to these!! I love them!!
For some reason though unless I staple them they fall apart and this is a problem when I am making the smaller sized ones becasue the stapler won't fit. I even tried red tape but overnight it came apart too! Any suggestions? (I have not tried glue dots yet)

fancyfrancy, you can try glue dots. Grandmaof1 just sent me a You Tube video about snowflakes. I'm sure you will understand this.

Option

The only other thing I can think of is brads or eyelets but that would get pricey.

Paper snowflakes

I made 150 22" snowflakes and 150 11" snowflakes to hang from the ceiling of the reception hall for my daughter's wedding in December. A little time consuming but the effect was beautiful.

I made these a couple of years ago, and I found that the only thing that held them together so they didn't come apart was tacky glue.

Thanks for the instructions and tips! This is just what my Girl Scout troop wanted to do at our upcoming holiday party (we're making snowflake decorations for an upcoming senior luncheon)!
