Make your own embossing folders
Okay, as promised, here is the step-by-step tutorial for making your own embossing folders for your favorite die-cutting and embossing machine or rolling pin. Before downloading, please note that I regret that I cannot email the file to requesters. So please try to follow the directions below on downloading--it really should work for you if you follow instructions. One last note: this file was prepared with the intention of viewing on screen--the photos are low-resolution to keep the file size to a minimum, so while you can print it, it won't look very good. I do have high-resolution versions of all the photos, so if you need a closer look, send me a PM and I'll post it for you.
Enjoy!
To save the file from this website to your hard disk, do the following:
From Mac: right click (if you have a two-button mouse) or hold down the mouse button on the file name (if you have a one-button mouse) until the popup window comes up. Choose "Download linked file" --navigate to where you want to save it, then click OK (or Save, I forget which). Then you can open and print the file from wherever you saved it.
From PC: right click on the file name until the popup window comes up. Choose "Save target as..." --navigate to where you want to save it, then click OK (or Save, I forget which). Then you can open and print the file from wherever you saved it.
This file requires Adobe Reader version 5 or later. Iif you are using an older version you might need to upgrade (go to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html).
If after saving the file to your computer, it doesn't open when you double-click it, try this: Open up your Adobe Reader program (by double-clicking or from the Start menu), go to the File menu, choose Open... browse to where you saved the file, and open it. This usually works when all else fails.
The password protection on my file is there to prevent alterations to the file. It will not prevent you from printing it.

Thanks for all the work you did. I'm sure it is fantastic. Unfortunately I am unable to read it. I have Adobe 6.0 and when I right click, the save as option is not highlighted, so I'm unable to read it. And when I click on the link all I get is a colored small box. Boo Hoo!
But thanks anyway.

I've heard of this happening before for some people, and I'm trying to remember what the solution turned out to be. Seems like it had something to do with Content Advisor. This is an option in your Tools / Internet Options / Content tab. Is yours turned on? Try turning it off, getting out of Internet Explorer, and getting back in again. Then see the link download works. If not, I can't think of anything else it could be. The download works fine for me.
Good luck,
Cyndie

No that didn't help. I even tryed enabling the DRM from Adobe menu, and that didn't help either. But thanks so much for trying. I appreciate your help.
