Enjoy!

My photos!
1. A photo taken this week as I was driving from my friend's house. So many brilliantly coloured trees. I will be getting out again in the next few days to take some more fall pics.
2. A sunrise photo over my lake. My neighbour and I have been walking early in the morning most days during the week, and at one point decided to time our walks with sunrise time.
3. Another sunrise photo.

Another sunrise photo, almost across the road from my house. Sure wish I had water frontage!
The second photo was taken in August. It is in my brother's garden, and he found a couple of tomato worms. This was one with his granddaughter in the background. I think it is a really cool photo!

I'll try and get a couple of interesting photos. The weather is so variable; yesterday was gorgeous and I took a bunch of photos just between the post office and work. Today was dull boring grey. I can see the grey skies in your tree photo, but at least you have enough sunshine to make the trees look good :D.
The sunrise photos are lovely - the last one with the little jetty is my favourite. I hope I never see anything like that tomato worm in real life - it looks HUGE. And so well camouflaged, too.

That photo of the cattails - I am green with envy. I can't tell you how much time I have spent trying to get a halfway decent picture of some. The light in it is fabulous.
The third picture is totally amazing, too.
I took a few this morning, but it will have to wait till later on when I'm upstairs at my PC to upload and edit them.

Pansy, your photos are beautiful! The cattails are stunning....you caught just the right light and your skill in photographing them is super! I love the colour and detail on the three red leaves and the third picture with the tree and reflection is amazing! cute little spider too!

Well--which spider---I hope you saw the one in the third photo(the reflection one) and the critter in the 4th photo is not a spider.....commonly called "daddylonglegs" his real name is harvestman or longshoreman....he only has one main body part while true spiders have 3.
glad you like the cattails....that was an early morning shot and the sun actually came through for me.

Pansy, I did not know that about spiders! See, I can learn something in this forum!
I took some more photos today. I was going to go for a drive to see fall colours, but the sun disappeared before I could get out. However, this morning, when my neighbour and I returned from our walk, we noticed the cool way the leaves on her tree had red along the borders and green or yellow on the inside, so I went across the road to get my camera. I didn't need to go far for great fall colours!

Here crane flies are what we call Daddy Long Legs - very like your photo, Pansy, but with wings.
Yesterday was a sunny morning and I had a good start by spotting a cormorant silhouetted under a bridge on the way to work.

I don't know for sure exactly what they are, I think they're something to do with electricity, but all the normally grey "boxes" are breaking out in fun covers at the moment.

I think the offices that are "To Let" are in the back of the church building - they're certainly actually part of it, so it amused me to spot the sign.

Weathered wood on an abandoned shop.

A fun poster - though I still can't quite work out what the caption is meant to mean . I love the imagination in the artwork, though.

Ina,,,those leaves are gorgeous!!!!! glad you ran for the camera......
Sabrina,,,I love the cormorant!!!! and the to let sign is a real giggle....the wood is cool...and I love the poster.....I know that guiness is an ale---correct????? so maybe they are trying to say that Guiness is made by artists???? like the woodpecker doing the tree???? I don't know......it still is a cool poster and image..... thanks for sharing.
