Lost a member of the family....

I had to put my dog to sleep today. I knew it was time. He has been sick for a couple of months now, but I dont think your ever ready for that decision. Please pray for me and my family. Thanks

It's so hard to lose a member of the family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there.

No, you are never ready to lose a close friend and family member. My heart goes out to you. Such a difficult decision to make. Prayers and thoughts are being sent your way.

My heart goes out to you.
We lost our 3 1/2 year old pomeranian in the summer due to a sudden kidney failure (he didn't make it to the vet to be put down), and I know what you're going through. It is absolutely heartwrenching. I always feel so bad for animals because they don't understand what's going on, and we can't explain it to them.
May you find the strength to remember the good times with your dog. I'm sure you loved him a lot.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's never easy, and they sure do leave footprints on our hearts.

I know exactly how you feel. Our family dog died this morning at 0220 also. You are right, you are never ready to say goodbye. Keep your chin up and know that he is out of pain.

Sending prayers to you and your family. I know how hard a decision that is--just had my kitty put to sleep last week.

I am so sorry to hear that! I just got Scooby last June and I can't remember what life was like before him....or what it would be like without him! Hugs to you and your family....and a snuggle from Scooby (he's not much of a "kisser"). I just put my oldest cat down, she couldn't stand or walk, it was a difficult decision, but in the end it was best her...think about the quality of their life and you'll realize it was the right decision. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I'm so sorry for all of you who lost their furry friends. That is such a hard thing to go through. I told myself that I would never own another pet since I had such a tough time putting my pet down when I was 20 (I had Pretty since I was 5). Of course I wasn't able to be petless. Try to remember the happy times with your friends---they definitely do leave footprints on our hearts. I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Bless you,

Jacque

I am so sorry about your loss. It just breaks your heart. I lost my cat of 17 years last October and I felt like a child of mine had died. I cried for months and I still get choked up when I think about how hard it was to lose him and how much I miss him. Hang in there. You are in my prayers.
Big hugs, Kim

I am so sorry to hear about your dog (and other peoples' pets). My heart breaks for you. I just found out one of my cats (not my avatar cat) has kidney failure and will eventually need to be put to sleep as well.
