Challenge Title: Let there be peace. Hostess: MISTI Monday Keyword: MSP39 Date: November 2nd, 2020
Good evening all! It's time for our November Challenge! I hope you are all doing well!
This month's challenge is centered around peace. 2020 has been a difficult year in many ways. I have been so looking forward to starting my Christmas cards to spread love, joy and peace. So it's fitting, for this month especially, to find peace for yourselves or give peace to others.
My card was very easy to put together, but it looks like it took a nice amount of time. I broke out my MISTI for the layering berries stamp set from The Ton. This kind of stamp, using multiple images layered together to create a beautiful image, is why I'm so glad Iliana invented this amazing tool. I could never get stamps to create such perfection. The Layering Berry Branches stamp set uses The Ton's new, patent-pending, layering guides.
I used a sparkly white embossing powder for the second layer of the berries to create a wintry, snowed on, effect. The red peace die seemed to be made for this card. These two things were adhered over a blended oxide ink back ground featuring the Broken China color.
This month's challenge is to create a peaceful card to send to a loved one. I think we're all wishing for peace this year, even more so than usual. You can create a wintry card like I did or create a peaceful scene of your own.
Let's try to send a little (or a lot) of peace towards those who need it. I'm even going to make smaller peace cards to anonymously leave places to brighten someone's day.
Thanks for reading and I hope you all participate in this month's challenge. I had a really nice time creating the card and I hope you do as well.

What a lovely idea to leave peace cards around. I sometimes do this with books I'm returning to the library but I'm sure other places will come to mind. Thanks for this challenge.

Here is a card with a peaceful message. The Misti is so helpful when stamping on watercolor paper when it has a rough texture. I can restamp until the coverage is perfect.

Hey, shh...don't remind anyone...there are only 3 cards in the gallery and one of them is mine and neither of the other 2 are yours....so maybe I have a better chance of winning!
If I win this month I will be giving a MISTI to a retired lady that is just gotten back into card making. She was a nurse at the hospital where I donate my cards, she called me the other day asking some questions...with COVID-dial back here in MN we can't connect except through video call though I'm dropping off a MISTI for her to try along with some stamps!

Faye, there are four cards as I type this. Someone slipped one in on the 17th and it is pretty. I do like your card as well as the other ones in the gallery.

Congrats to Forest Ranger! The winning card was the Snowman with his little friend card! Thanks for entering!!!
Thanks everyone! Yes! The month went by very fast! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
I am house sitting/dog sitting tonight, so I’ve got two very large dogs on my lap. They’re Labradoodles.
I can’t believe next month is the last challenge of 2020. A little hint at the challenge... we’ve done this before... pick your favorite challenge from this past year and create a new card to enter using that theme. I’ll post this all in the December challenge post next Monday. But you can get a head start!
Congratulations Jeannette! Glad you get a new product to have fun with.
Exciting about Dec. challenge. Now to go take a look through and select a favorite!!

Playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking for the fun of it, to meet the November 2020 MISTI challenge, I created a peaceful snowy forest. I, of course, used my MISTI to align my rows of trees.
