Is Cut-Align available anywhere but the US??? The shipping cost to Alberta is one and a half times the price of the product...help!!! I can see so many uses for this product and it's killing me[well, not really, but...you know] that I'd have to pay so much to get it.

Used my new Cut-Align to get my small sentiment and border cut out for this card:

While this tool sounds like a great idea, what keeps the knife blade from cutting into the ruler? I don't trust myself to cut with any guide that is plastic, unless it has a metal edge. I even always cringe when I see other people doing it in videos!

Andrea, that's another reason to cut lightly and make several passes. :/

I hear you, Andrea. That is a concern whilst using any of our sharp tools for sure. I like Dina's advice, too. Safety first - can't craft without fingers...
From what I could see, these rulers have a wide enough slot, not too wide to encourage wobbling, that I think I'd feel comfortable inserting the blade. As for cutting, I think the ruler is thick enough that I'd feel the blade was down a comfortable depth that I wouldn't worry about it popping up and cutting into the plastic unless I got distracted.
Having said all that, if I do manage to get these rulers, I'll post how they work and whether or not I think they were worth it. Cheers!

My Cut-Align ensures I have equal width borders on both sides of my sentiment ... love it.
