I love this kind of story. Congratulations! Good on you...I know you had hurdles and nights when you were in bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking "What have I done?" All dreamers do.

Oh, Iliana, a big congratulations and praise God! What an amazing journey you started, and now you are a full-blown business. I agree with someone above that I am delighted to have a MISTI hand-made by you! What a wonderful blessing, and I thank God for giving you the wisdom and motivation for designing this wonderful tool! You have made and are making more and more happy stampers! And as wavejumper above said, I'm sure there were struggles and lots of the emotions in this journey leading up to a big business. May God continue to guide you. Hugs!

Are there any plans for a MISTI that will accommodate 12x12 paper?

Why yes, yes it was an exciting day!!!! I squeeed in delight when I received an email on Friday informing me that my MISTI had shipped! I was so pleasantly surprised because they were initially expected to ship October 30th. Thank you Iliana for making this happen!!!
And when I checked the tracking last night, I was shocked to see that my MISTI was already in Washington State!!! Although Americans might not fully appreciate it, I never cease to marvel at the efficiency of the United States Postal Service. For a package to go from Illinois to Washington in barely 24 hours is amazing. In Canada that would never happen. We just don't have a large enough population base for mail to travel that fast. Several years ago I worked for eBay Canada head office and learned a lot about the postal service. The example that was given was that if you drove a mail truck a certain distance in the US and the same distance in Canada within the same timeframe, the American truck would be full and the Canadian truck would be at best 1/3 full. That's why our mail is more expensive and slower. We just need to send more mail. ;) LOL
Thanks again Iliana for your dedication to this. I know it has been an uphill battle in many instances and you've unfortunately had your share of naysayers. That just goes without saying in any venture, but it takes a special kind of endurance to get through it. I know, I'm a fixer and a people pleaser with an anxiety disorder: bad combination!! I get bent out of shape in a sad/depressed kind of way when people are not happy with me, I obsess about it and have a hard time letting go. So if you have even a speck of being a fixer and people pleaser in you (and I suspect you do!) I bow down in admiration of what you have accomplished.

Congratulations, Iliana!!! I too bought one of the early hand made MISTIs, and couldn't believe that was how you were producing them! When I received it, started using it, watching the videos, your blog, etc., I realized not only could I not live or stamp without this, but as word got out, how would you be able to keep up with the demand?
To see where you are now does not surprise me at all. You have stayed true to yourself, your principles, and your product, and you deserve the success you are seeing. I am so happy for you and your forward thinking!!! Bravo to you, and thank you for making my card making so easy!!!
