Hello! Hello! It's the final challenge of 2019!! Can you believe it? Where has the time gone? I was certainly in for a short month, but it just went by way too fast. I will confess that having two weeks off in November was REALLY nice, even if it was just laying around.
I know most, if not all of you, will be busy this month. I decided to do a simple challenge to close out the year and I hope you enjoy it. As the name says, this month's challenge is to create a card or project with snow. You can stamp it, use glitter, embossing powder, or anything that conveys snow to you.
On my card, I did a little ink blending to create my snowy hill. This card was so simple, but so cute. I made 20 in no time at all.

The stamp set is from WPlus9, I used Distress Oxide ink, shattered glass, and my Picket Fence Studios Life Changing blending brushes. The hill was created with a stencil from My Favorite Things called Drifts & Hills. I used my MISTI for mass production, centering my sentiment and being able to stamp each card with precision. I didn't even have to re-ink the sentiment. It was crisp from the get-go using Altenew's Obsidian Black Pigment Ink.
I did 20 of these cards in less than an hour. I cut out the trees very quickly since they were easy triangles.
Good Luck this month and I can't wait to see your snowy creations. This months should be really fun and I hope it gets you into the holiday mood! I'm getting there, but still eating Thanksgiving leftovers (lol).
Merry Christmas
Happy Hannukah
Have a wonderful Kwanzaa
Happy Holidays
However you celebrate, may it be with loved ones in abundance.

Merry Christmas MISTI Monday! Great theme for December and your card is so sweet! I need to make lots of Christmas cards, as I sold almost all my Christmas cards at a craft sale. So I love your idea of using the Misti for mass production!

I needed a bit of sunshine before doing any thing with snow. It might be cold outside, but the sun is shining.

I'm not late! Hmm...if I had seen this before tonight would I have made a card earlier today with snow? Maybe, but probably not because I wanted to use purple and well, I don't think of snow as purple!
I did shovel snow today and my back feels it tonight...it may have been only 1 1/2 inches of snow but our cement slab can park 9 vehicles when parked correctly so it is large...and I did shoveled it one scoop at a time...
Next planned card day will be Tuesday...

I made this snow scene for DEC19 VSN and it also works for December's Misti "Simply Snow!" I used my Mini Misti to get my sentiment centered on the small strip of white.
This is such a great challenge for December! I so had fun and combined a lot with the VSN challenges since they so fit together!
I have to say that without both sizes of my MISTI's it would have been very hard to stamp my large book card!
That and I am adding the ornament made using my mini MISTI with the grandkids.
It's starting a new generation stamping with the MISTI's!! I had my granddaughter place the stamp in position and stamp! To her dismay, the image did not turn out so well and she was so disappointed! (Do you remember those days?)
I had to explain to her how the MISTI worked!! And then the tears turned to smiles for it was a clean crisp image!! So fun to see the MISTI magic!!
I am getting in under the wire for my second card. I also realized that I didn't post about my first card! I used my MISTI to line up my stamps on both cards.
I am late again!!! Lol...New Year’s Resolution for 2020, be on time!!!
Happy New Year to you all!!! I have a wedding this evening and I’m getting all gussied up!!! I just peeked at all your beautiful cards!!!!! I’ll announce the winner tomorrow, as I just realized I was late in announcing. I was actually flying home on Sunday and never thought of the date. I hope you all have a happy evening!!
Congratulations to annesforte for being the last winner of 2019! Her card, blue hills was randomly chosen as our December winner! Thank you all for participating this month and throughout 2019! I hope you had fun with this challenge!
January 2020 Challenge to be posted this coming Monday!
Many awesome wishes for a healthy and happy 2020! May all your dreams come true!
