Welcome to the November 2021 Challenge! With everything we've been going through for the last 19 months, I think now more than ever counting our blessings this Thanksgiving is so important. There's so many things I'm thankful for this year. I'm thankful for personal health, and the health of my family, above all.

However, this card I'm going to share with you was made for my friend, Sherri, who moved in with her gentleman friend and is now renting her house to me. I've loved her house so much over the years. She could have sold it, when she moved into her new home, but she didn't. She chose to let me live in it, knowing my love for it and that I'd take really good care of it. So I moved from a tiny apartment into her home. Every day, when I walk into my home after work, I close my eyes and thank her silently. So every month I'm sending her a card with my rent check enclosed. Sometimes as I lay down to sleep at night, I still can't believe my good fortune to be in a home.

This card was made with dies from Concord and 9th and The Greetery. I used my MISTI to stamp the "so grateful" on the background. and also my sentiment on the inside.



I thought the color I chose was perfect for the season. And there's that gold I have fun playing with.

What a beautiful card and a great theme for this month: thankfulness. I love that you appreciate your friend's generosity in allowing you to rent her home. I'm sure she appreciates having someone who loves her home living there, knowing that you will take good care of it! You are both blessed!

I made two thank you cards, one white and one black. I used my mini-Misti for the image as I embossed it and I try to make sure I have good coverage!

I love your thankful story.How very wonderful of your friend!
I am thankful for so much! One of the things I love here at SCS is the Teapot challenge, My card (above post) is going to a young man with cancer that was a prior teapot recipient. I had the class I teach religious ed make him cards as well, with a Thankful theme and asked them to try to include a joke, as he loves comedy and laughing. It is cute to see what the kids came up with and the corny jokes will put a smile on his face : )

I'm almost late joining this thread...but hey, here I am...going to attempt to make a card today with gratitude as the image (I have one in mind, hopefully I can pull it together)

Misti Monday...51 challenges later and I still have no clue who you are but I have enjoyed getting to know tidbits about you over the years. You have become a fun imaginary friend, thanks for brightening each moth for someone with your gift.

Good evening, everyone! Thanks so much for all the beautiful entries in the Thankful challenge. I love them all. November was a very challenging month for me and December is becoming even worse. But it's so nice to check in here and read your posts and look at your cards.
