Default Concerned New Misti Owner

I received my Misti order today and after careful inspection I noticed the following:

*wipe marks on the top lid
* scratches on the bottom bed plexiglass
*air bubbles trapped underneath the black foam on the back that makes a popping noise when you touch them

I haven't used it yet and awaiting a response from customer service. I'm concerned the product won't last long because of these discrepancies and wonder are these normal for the price of the product? Please advise.

I would suggest you contact the seller directly on the website. I don't think they address these issues on SCS.

Oops, sorry. I didn't read that you had already contacted customer service. Please disregard my post.

I agree with you that a brand new product should not have those issues.

They don't do customer service inquiries here and it is a holiday weekend, so I'd not expect a response until Monday. I'm sure if there's a defect, you can exchange it.

Oh and no and no. I've had mine for more than a year - it's awesome. And I use mine for my classes so it gets used hundreds of times three Saturdays a month

Thanks for responding UnderstandBlue. After reading different posts on this forum, I wanted to inquire to others in regards to their (new) Misti experience. The owner did respond to my email and I will be sending it back shortly. I hope you have a wonderful new year also.

i received my new MISTI as a Christmas gift & mine arrived shiny & brand new without any of the issues you experienced, but they do seem like an awesome company & I'm sure they will take good care of you & make it right! it's an awesome tool & you're sure to love it!
