Smile Curious George - The kids loved it

I was ready for a real yawner, but suprisingly it was a very cute movie. Both my girls (3 1/2 & 5 1/2) stayed in their seats the entire time (a first).

Hope you all enjoy it!

Thumbs up

We took my kids on Saturday to see it as well. Both sat beautifully the whole time, taking turns on grandparents' laps. I thought it was a tad bit slow, and frankly, the music was SO soothing, I had trouble staying awake at times. But it was a sweet movie--no scary parts, which I appreciate having a 3yo and 5yo. No bad dreams! My favorite aspect was the beautiful music tho! Jack Johnson's voice was dreamy.

My 3yr old DD loved it. She sat quietly thru the whole thing and still talks about wanting to see it again. I love Jack Johnson's voice, too.

Oh, I'm glad that you posted this. I was thinking about taking my two boys (a soon to be 4 year old and a 2 1/2 year old) to the movie. This would be their first movie on the big screen.

We took our 2.5 YO DS to see Curious George - his first big-screen movie! He loved it. We worried about him disturbing others in the theater, but seriously, he sat still the entire time, and besides, the theater was filled with 2-3-4-5- and 6 year olds.

We took our DD ( 2 1 /2 ) to see it for her first movie theatre movie too!! I was waiting on a suitable cartoon, and George came at the right time. She was a bit wiggly, sat mostly on Daddy's lap, got a bit freaked by the dark a few times, but SO MUCH BETTER THAN I IMAGINED!!!!!

Cute movie....

We took our 5 & 7 year olds on Monday to see this. VERY CUTE!!! I loved it!
Definitely bring the kids to see it! So heartwarming & sweet! You'll love every minute of it!

In fact, the lady in front of me had her 1 1/2 year old with her & even he sat still the entire time!

Thanks for posting about this movie! DS is 2.5 and I have been wondering what to take him to for his first movie. He does enjoy his Curious George book, so I'll bet he'll enjoy this movie!

Now lets hope it gets over here to Germany before we return to the states this summer (and stops showing there!)

I agree. I took my nephew and niece to see it and they were laughing and cheering at the end. My niece got pretty upset when George was on the boat and yelled that the man in the yellow hat was a very mean man.
