Default Alcohol ink and yupo paper

I recently saw a card where the icing on the cupcake was made using the ink and this type of paper. Do you know if this technique has a specific name that can be easily searched. I have never heard of the paper, but I did look it up and I am excited about trying this

I don't know of a special name. Search alcohol ink and Yupo paper on Joggles.com, YouTube, Jennifer McQuire, Loll Thompson. Alcohol ink is magical on Yupo!

Just a heads up - Yupo paper, which is plastic, comes in matte and glossy. You probably want glossy. I don't know if matte works with alcohol inks but I bought a pack from an LSS at one time and the cashier said they bought the matte by mistake.

Joggles is having an alcohol ink sale right now - 25% off. Lots of videos about using it on youtube, and Joggles has a bunch. (Google "alcohol ink joggles and a lot will pop up or go to their blog.) You'll need a bottle of blending solution too, though some people use alcohol - or both. BTW, the blending pen is empty - you can fill it with blending solution or even ink, though that means you're stuck with that one color.

Enjoy this addicting medium!

ETA I just remembered that Jennifer McGuire has an alcohol ink video, and since she's more into CAS than messy, you might enjoy it as well: http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/20...cohol-ink.html
