I just love the mono-print techniques the guy does in this video:

Not sure what printing foam is; I think it is either thin foam or styrofoam but it doesn't matter, the techniques in this video would probably work on either surface. This is a part 2 video but the info covered in 1 was pretty basic.

I used a pigment reinker on glass to draw a skyline onto this page, came out pretty nice I think. What do ya'll think?

The background was a mono print on glass as well. Now to figure out what to say on this one....

Thank you UnderstandBlue for adding the video to the post instead of a link, I really need to review how and then remember to do that instead myself. The post is always so much cleaner and nicer done that way.

Oh you're so welcome!! Here's how you do it - it's super easy! Just click share (wish this was on the page when you go to the video,) then click embed! Copy that code.

Thank you! The skyline was a second mono print. I added paint to my glass and then drew the swirls into the paint using a rubber distressing tool. I found it buried in the bottom of a drawer, it has three different patterns of comb like rubber teeth and came in a distressing kit I think.

I got one of those smooth vinyl folders in school supplies @ WalMart - only cost 50 cents! Is that one that I can use instead of a gel plate?
