VIEW THE GALLERY FOR THIS CHALLENGE I, the queen of 2D, am challenging you to make a handmade journal today, and used two or more mediums to complete the cover!
I chose this miracle paper that you can wash and sew, and a journal die to make a travel watercolor journal.
I used acrylic paint with stencils and my Gel Press, a permanent pen and a detail white pen to finish.
Here's a video - and the message here is keep going - finishing details make all the difference!
YIkes. That looks like great fun, and normally I am happy to give most things a try - but I can't imagine ever using a journal, or making one that would be nice enough to give as a gift. So I'm sorry - but I think I'll pass and let the FF tutorial be my crafting today. Like you I'm more of a 2D person - I don't mind 3D but I have to know that I will use it.
I love your cover - it made me think of the illustrations in the Just So Stories.
