Challenge Title: Pop it UpHostess: MariLynn Keyword: MIX110
I love cards that have a little dimension. So my challenge is to create a project/card that is Popped Up. There are several techniques you could use. In fact Dina's tutorial this week ONE LAYER PAPER TOLE would be great for this challenge. So would: 3D PAPER PIECING SPIRAL POP UP CARD POP UP CARD PAPER TOLE or you could pop the whole card up with this technique EASEL CARD
VIEW THE GALLERY FOR THIS CHALLENGE HERE Remember, for your project to truly qualify as mixed media, you need to use at least 2 different types of art media. You can click Here for a list of supplies you could choose from. if you want to start these challenges in the pages of an art journal instead of a card or on scrapbook pages, or on 3e items - please know- ANYTHING is welcome! We want you to learn and enjoy.
Please remember to put in the correct keyword (MIX110) when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos
For my card I chose to use 3D Paper Piecing and Easel for my techinques. I hope you have as much fun with this challenge as I did
Thanks for the fun challenge, MariLynn! Here's my Gold Easter Eggs. Thanks so much for looking (p.s. once again, I cannot view any pics in the gallery, so I'll ck back later).
I've made those paper tole flowers before and they turn out so beautiful. I've been thinking about the 3D paper piecing so I'm going to attempt that...at least that's what I think right now. You just never know where creativity takes you. LOL
Thanks for the fun challenge, MariLynn! Here's my Gold Easter Eggs. Thanks so much for looking (p.s. once again, I cannot view any pics in the gallery, so I'll ck back later).
I can't view them either.

I fussy cut the flowers that were on the other side of this dp ... colored the rims (I tried gold heat embossing oh .... about 3 times and gave up!) I popped up the flowers and the cup and saucer for today's challenge!

Here's mine - I used Luster Rub-ons and homemade mister for extra mediums.
And I tried the one-layer paper tole - fun! MIX110 Florals for Mother
Thanks, MariLynn.
Made it, finally! I've been away from my craft room for 3 weeks, and I felt a little rusty, and overwhelmed with new stuff to play with! Here's the latest addition to my House Mouse collection (Stampa Rosa line) - on the detail shot you can see what's popped.
