Default MIX 207- Masterboard-Triptych (1-13-17)

Tiitle: Masterboard-triptych
Hostess: MariLynn
Keyword: MIX207

Even though it is a new year it can be challenging to find something new.
Sometimes the
old becomes new again.
The masterboard technique is not a
new technique, and neither is a triptych.

Here is a video explaining my challenge.
(please excuse the mixed up numbers
I had 270 instead of the correct one 207...senior moment.)

Use stamps, ink and at least one more medium to make it qualify for Mixed media.

Please share your creations in the gallery:

(It helps to copy and paste the keywords so you don't make a mistake like I did.)

Thank you, MariLynn, this looks like such a fun challenge. I loved the colours in the second one in the video.

Just about time to finish this before it was too dark for a photo. Fun to make, but I did (as I told myself this morning) have to remember to make it mixed media, it would have been easy to get absorbed in stamping and forget! So as well as distress inks I used Inktense pencils, acrylic paint, Glossy Accents and a glitter pen.

I had a hard time cutting mine up too. I had to turn it over to the back side so I couldn't see it being cut.

I very rarely think to cut my panels up so this was a good reminder that it adds extra interest to a card. Here's my triptych:
