whew!! I would seriously hurt myself with those pole things...lol!!......I looked this up and wow...how fun....I have a ton of old mags and I have citrus cleaner under the counter....I'm gonna have to have some messy time soon....

Mix media has been popping up everywhere lately and I am soooo intrigued by it. This will definitely be a fun challenge! Can't wait to dig in. :0)

Thanks for this fabulous new way to learn how to do mixed media! I've been wanting to learn for quite a while, but it just seems so intimidating to me... I have most of the items listed above, so I'm good to go - no matter which way that is!

I think this is going to be the perfect 'push' for me! I just finished an on-line mixed media class with Nat Kalbach, and these challenges will help me get more comfortable with this new type of scrapping for me! Thanks!

Mixed media sounds so intriguing! I've read through this entire thread, but couldn't find an answer to my questions - How long do we have to complete the challenge? Can we jump in any time? Will there be one every week? You can see I'm very new around here!

This will be my first attempt at a challenge and want to upload my card. I'm just not sure how to do it. I don't know what gallery to select and what tags to use. Is there a tutorial anywhere I can take a look at? Thank you so much! I'm so excited to be here!!

Absolutely - there's a video tutorial linked in my signature - click "upload your art"


You will use your member gallery, and then be sure and include the challenge keyword - MIX1 - in the keyword field, along with other keywords like Valentine, etc. if they apply. they need a comma and a space, so if you use more than one, they look like this: MIX1, Valentine,


etc.


Be sure and list your supplies. Let me know if you have questions after the video - we will all help you! And no worries if you make a mistake - you can always edit after uploading! :)

Oh, gosh! I didn't know what they were either. Now it sounds like something I NEED to get. :D Arrrgh! I have been wondering what Mixed Media was, so this will be an interesting challenge for me. I know I'm already late for the first one, but this is the first chance I've had to read through this thread.

Oh I just saw this on Dini's blog a couple of days ago- yeah! I have been dabbling in Mixed Media and this is a great idea for a challenge- Cannot wait to join in!
