Here we are, on the cusp of Christmas. It has been quite the year. But one thing I'm seeing is how quickly we run from one thing, right on to the next with little time to stop and remember. There are friends of mine whose Christmas looks quite different this year. They've lost someone very close to them. I remember the first Christmas without my Dad. Friends were very careful around me, like I might be broken. During that time, I yearned to hear his name. I wanted to acknowledge how different that year was. I had a friend who sent me a different sort of card - she wrote his name. She reminded me of how much he loved his garden and I was transported. It was sad, but it was also such a rich feeling. Maybe you know someone who needs a memory shared, who craves to have just a moment where time stops and they feel seen.

Challenge: Use any of your artistic products and skills, and settle into seeing your friend while you craft a memory card. It doesn't have to be Christmas themed, but it certainly can be (Mom loved cardinals and that was such an easy tie-in to Christmas).
