Ready for a new Mix-Ability challenge?!! Our goal is to make mixed media easy, approachable and FUN! We want to convince you that no matter what your style is - you can DO it!
This week's challenge is Halloween Colors (Halloween themed, or not). Not everyone celebrates Halloween, or makes Halloween themed project, so this challenge is for everyone! Use Halloween colors, and as an option, you can make it Halloween themed, or not! I can’t wait to see your designs! Have fun! Remember to use the keyword MIX401 when uploading your creations to the gallery, come back and post a link, and let us "ooooooh" and "ahhhhhh" over your works of art!
Halloween, nope, not here. Not really, though I do have a couple of stamps. But the colours, yes indeedy. Count me in...and at the moment it sounds like rain, a good day to stay in. Thanks, Anna.
I did, in the end, make a Halloween card for the one person I send one to. It's sunny here (yay) so there's an odd shadow on it because I opened the gate so that the bunny could be seen in the photo!
Anna- found out my card also works with your challenge-so for Today's stencil challenge and this week's Mixability challenge- I made my own stencil for my cat- and used a dry embossed spooky background for my fussy cut "witch on a broom". Added a orange zigzag washi tape lower border and some sparkly trim to my sentiment panel. Here's Stay Off The Broom

I am taking the challenge option: NO Halloween theme, but using the Halloween colors. Going from my past Halloween cards, I have a lot of colors to choose from. I love using not only black, white, and shades of orange, but also shades of purples, golds, yellows, lime green, grays, and metallics. For this card, I have used Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, and Gold Metallic. My mediums are stamping ink (for ink distressed edges) and Acrylic glaze.
