Challenge Title: Keep Your Distance! Hostess: dini Keyword: MIX376 VIEW THE GALLERY FOR THIS CHALLENGE HERE Happy Mix-Ability day! Are you staying well and safe? I hope so! I am an OG social distancer, but I hit a weird point on Sunday where I reallly felt the need to be with people on purpose, other than my family. The last time I was out of the house socially was Feb. 28, so it's been a full 6 weeks now. It's not often a felt need, but I think my introvert cycle needs a reboot. I feel like we need to create something beautiful out of our circumstances, so let's represent our distance on our projects this week. For this week's challenge, use two (or more, but certainly not more than 10!) of the same something on the card, but leave some space in between them! You may use a repeated image, embellishment, design element, etc. Remember, for your project to truly qualify as mixed media, you need to use at least 2 different types of art media. You can click HERE for a list of supplies you could choose from. Please remember to put in the correct keyword (MIX376) when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. Then come back to this thread and paste a link to the card in your gallery so we can all ooh and ahhh! Go forth and create! |
I also am, by nature, a social distancer. I understand what you are saying about needing the reset. Me too. Thanks for a really fun challenge.

I'm playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking and getting a birthday card finished at the same time. I've used two bouquets of flowers which are on opposite sides of the oval from one another. Mediums: dye-based stamping ink; Acrylic Glitter glaze. Here is my card: A Little Happy Birthday to Sister-in-Law #3! |
