Thanks Anna for a fun challenge. I am not much of a garden person. I have a black thumb. But I do have apple trees and I tried to grow corn this year. I used photos of my apples and corn in an entry in my Junk/Art journal that I made from recycled Church bulletins to make a bible journal. MIX393 My garden by MariLynn - at Splitcoaststampers

Playing catch-up today. The yellow has almost vanished. And ironically, the pink California poppies I planted in the garden this Spring have bloomed in the traditional vivid yellow that was on this background piece .
This is so much better than any garden I can grow. My family says I have a black thumb! They are not wrong, LOL. Unless Mother Nature can take care of it without my help, the poor thing is on death row.
I used to have only lawn around my house, but now, fruits and vegetables can also be found in my garden. I am a big fan of having a green, beautiful lawn, where I can play with my kids, walk the dog, to step barefoot in the morning on it, it's satisfying. The only thing was that I had an area where I didn't mow the grass for some time, and now it's too tall for a normal mower. The good thing is that I found this list of tools for cutting tall grass on the internet, and with the help of those tools I could mow the grass which was too tall for an normal mower.
I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, doing some catching up...some are old...some are newer. This is a February birthday card for a long-time friend that we've not been able to see during Covid!
I'm showing my daughter's front yard garden in full bloom in the spring and summer...full of rock roses and all! My mediums: computer inked sentiment, pigment inked edges, and Copic marker inked flower gems.
