Default What Could I Do With This?

I'm going through stuff in my dad's house...getting ready to sell it. I found two "files" for the old 3.5 floppy disks...they have hinged lids and dividers (kind of like a big Rolodex).

I don't suppose it would HURT me to just toss them...but I've tried to think of what I could use them for in my craft room...and I'm drawing a blank.

Any ideas?? You ladies are the most clever re-users & re-purposers!!

I'm sure others will be able to come up with all kinds of crafty ideas! The only thing I can think of now is to catalog your stamps and/or supplies. They sound too intriguing to just toss!

ok, so, it is like a rolodex box, yes? or recipe box?

how about using for small thin dies

sit with your dies and punches while you watch tv, cut out oodles of them and store in the files. then when u need, vwhala, right there in the file!

card fronts

small scraps of CS

stamp mini cards and gifts tags, organize in there

would spellbinder dies fit? how about the small dies for the cuttlebug?

pieces of ribbon wrapped on cardstock?

are there sleeves attached to hold the 3.5 disks? does it spin? I guess I'd have more ideas if I could see a picture of it.

How about using it to make a card file index of all your greeting stamps?

Thanks!! You gave me a GREAT idea on storing my index!

If the dimensions are slightly larger than 3 1/2 for ease of taking disks out then maybe ATC's would fit. I think that would be a fun way to flip thru and look at them.
