What color is your craft room?
My son is moving out and his bedroom will become my craftroom. I am sorry to see him go, but very excited to get my own craftroom! Big question, what color to paint it? What color do you have yours painted? I like SU colors so I think I would like to do it a color from SU....any suggestions?

Old Olive 2...it is the perfect green! And, I have white furniture. If I ever get done with sewing the wedding dress I may just start on the drapes for that room.
I did paint my guest bath Oklahoma Wheat and it is the most perfect yellow.

Cinder block gray. I'm in the basement and haven't painted yet. My plan if and when I get around to painting is white. With purple as an accent color, but I don't know at this point where those accents will be.

I will be getting a craft room when our house is done being built. A few months to go yet. I plan to paint mine Baja Breeze with white furniture and Chocolate Chip accents. I may switch to Certainly Celery walls though as the room won't have any windows and the Baja might make the room to drab with no sunlight. I really want the Baja though as it's my favorite color!!

My craft corner is like a tannish/yellow (I think the color was bleached almond, or something like that ) I love it - it is my favorite place in the house!!!
(btw is it just me, or does yellow seem to be a common craft room color??!! We all have similar tastes!! LOL )

That sounds gorgeous!!! Is it possible to get SU! paint? It seems like a lot of people have been using SU! colors for their rooms.

Super easy - just take a piece of cardstock with you and have it matched. Stores are happy to do it. My ten year old daughter's bedroom is pixie pink!

Pale Plum walls with Perfect Plum carpet; natural wood. Had tab curtains custom made using a floral fabric colored with Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Mellow Moss and Pretty In Pink. The room has been this way for nearly five years and I'm ready for a change, but I have too much on the walls and don't feel like taking it all down to paint. Eventually.

It is so funny reading these...this is exactly how my daughter described her wedding 9 months ago (it is in 10 days--eeekkk!) "Mom, I want old olive for my accent color and my dress to be very vanilla and just basic black for the other accent." Trained her well, huh?
The Old Olive paint is at Lowes and I think it was Martha Stewart. They have Olive 1, 2, and 3. My kitchen is old Gold 2. My bedroom is Old Olive 1 with a 2 ceiling.
There are pic in my gallery.

Just painted my 'Rubber Room' in the spring - 3 walls are Baja Breeze and the other wall is Kraft (or Crumb Cake to those who have adapted better than I have to the renaming of colours). Pleated window shades are Kraft coloured and the window trim is white. I am trying to choose what quotes I want to put up on the walls and they will be done in Chocolate Chip. I love my new colours - even more so because the room was previously painted in Colorado Avalanche colours with a gaudy hockey border all around the room - wanted to paint it since the day we moved in. Waiting made me appreciate my new colours even more! I was able to find paint that matched my choices pretty much exactly from the paint chip samples in the store.

Mine is So Saffron. I loved it so much that when we moved, I painted my new room the same color. I'm not a yellow person, but it is the perfect craft room color for me. (I took a piece of cardstock to the paint store for them to match.)
Good luck with your decision!

My walls are in Cool Carribbean with all white furniture - shelving, desks, etc and the tile is a cross between Kraft/Crumb and beige - which was to simulate sand - it's a very ocean themed room in color and decor

I don't have a "craft room", but the room I craft in is Certainly Celery with white trim. Love it. I took a piece of Cool Caribbean card stock to Benjamin Moore to match for the kitchen. Looks great! I have to be careful - If it was up to me, every room in the house would be a different shade of green! I've thought about Barely Banana if I get a craft room one day!

Mine is painted with Sherwin Williams' bamboo sprout. It's a golden in normal light and old olive in florescent light. White trim and garnet red silk drapes. I painted it last year when I turned it into a guest room. It's currently being transformed into my craft room. I'll post pictures once it's complete.

Ditto on the yellow with white trim. I am in the process of converting my daughters old bedroom into my craft room. Bought a beautiful oak table from IKEA. I am using black and white accent colors.
I thought the yellow would be sunny even in the dreary winter months. Its a buttercup yellow.

mine is a pale lavendar with SU! butterflies stamped around the room in Orchard Opulence and Lavendar lace (I think) it used to be my dd's room before we moved her downstairs. I'd love to paint my room Baja Breeze but the idea of moving all my stuff is daunting!

I recently moved my room upstairs and my walls are a creamy white with certainly celery on one wall. My accent colors are celery and black and my trim is bright white. I love Tink so there's alot of influence in my room and it's very fun and alot warmer in the winter! Pictures of my old room are posted in my gallery and I will post pictures of my new room soon.

My first craft room was red (my son's old room) and although I loved the color, it was a bit to dark of a red.
My current room is light blue with large yellow stars on the walls. I'm currently rearranging (for the 3rd time). I took off the curtain I had in the room and for now just going with the mini-blinds. I like how bright (but not blinding bright) the room is. Very calming also. Once I finish cleaning up this mess from rearranging I'll have to post some pics.
Well, back to cleaning, was just on a break.

I love how some of you have used SU colors for your walls. I'm about to move my entire stamp space to a different room and can't decide on a color.

Mine is white walls with honey colored flooring. I know some people think that white is boring, I did, until my DH painted one wall a delicious light lavender and then I realized how many brightly colored storage pieces I have. Without a word, he repainted it white! I love my room it always makes me feel peaceful.

I am painting my basement craft area a bright teal blue with chocolate brown furniture (its a huge room so I have a TV and futon and chair down there.) I'm loving the look so far. I hope I actually get to create in it. Looks like my husband and I are heading towards a divorce or at least a trial separation.

Certainly Celery with white shelves and storage, but dark brown wood trim (came with the house; I hate it).
