Default How Should I Use This?

Ok girls: I need your help.
I went by the local elementary school to drop off my paper recycling, and this was sitting by the dumpster calling my name. Obviously one of the teachers left it there hoping someone could use it. (There were two plastic bins, but no lids, so I passed on them.)
Anyway, I threw it in my car, brought it home, and hosed it down. The wheels work fine. I wish it wasn't red, but it was free!
My question is: what's the best way to use it?
I'm guessing the teacher used it for books.

Could you spray paint it to change the color. Or if you put up against the wall put some thing decorative behind it. Or add ribbon or decorative fibers to it.

I was thinking about white spray paint.
Thanks.

Are you thinking of storage? If so, reams of paper and other stackable items.

If you kept it inside, I might be tempted to weave paper strips through it, unless it's in the sun (fading).

If it lived outdoors and you garden, pots and containers of flowers and vines. (Native, not invasive.)

I was indeed thinking of storage. Craft room storage.
It outside because I just hosed it off, so it needed to dry before I bring it inside.

Beesides copy-paper reams or the like, do you have small boxes/bins that are easy to move and happy to be stacked?

Do you hang anything so could attach wire across parts of it and could ciip items on it?

You could attach cards you want to display on the outside. : )

Just brainstorming. I have a good sized closet filled with Elfa shelves. But if I didn't have that, it would hold some of those closeted items.

Foam core board to make shelves on the horizontal separations? Or hanging buckets - like the ones they sell at IKEA with the Bygel rails?

I have white Bygel containers hanging on both of my Raskogs and should have thought of that!

My painting Raskog Bygels contain paint brushes, tiny tubes of paint, sponges/pipettes/eye droppers, pens & markers - all kinds of things. Love the marriage between the two.

BTW, Ikea won't ship Bygel containers. You can find them on Amazon, overpriced, but better than nothing. If you're a Prime member, often it's free shipping, and I've seen 3 for $9.99.

Thank you. I have an IKEA about a half hour drive from me, so it's not a big deal to head over there if I need more.

I'm 45-60 minutes away from two Ikeas, but I hate to admit I ordered three Bygels on Amazon once.

A trip to Ikea eats up at least half a day, with driving, checkout lines, and of course you have to look at "stuff." And all it takes is one fender-bender or rush hour to eat up even more time and gas. So I sprung for them.

I have some super metal baskets from Ikea for a rail in my glass workshop, but they don't work on Raskog. They might work on the cart though. I'll try to find them.

These aren't the metal containers I referred to, but check out Grundtal, nice:
GRUNDTAL kitchen series - IKEA

No more time to look for the ones I have - I'm off to volunteer (which they pay you for, funny), at a Scrapbook Expo. Volunteering and taking a few tiny (one hour) workshops, and I'm sure my wallet will be involved at various times as well. Enjoy the day!

Hey, lynnewithane -- just wondering if you were able to do anything with the rack?

Well, I snuck it in the house without my husband seeing it.
My daughter and I do a December craft fair, so I may just keep it red and use it as a display case.
