CTMH: How do you store your stamp sets?
Do you own CTMH stamps sets? What do you put all your envelopes in?
IKEA used to have a drawer that they fit in... but I haven't seen it in the catalog or in the store lately...
My shoeboxes are wobbly and lame...

I use plastic mini crates that I get at Wally world for like $1.17 or something close to that. They fit perfectly and I can just flip through them. So far I have one for Holiday stamps, one for Flowers and one for everything else as I just became a demo.

Ah ha... I'll have to just put a stamp set in my pocket and go to Wally's and start trying them all out until I find one...

I do use the CD shelf from Ikea. It does have adjustable shelves so you can get 10 shelves. Each shelf holds 13 envelopes. If I need to take my stamp sets with me, I just use the boxes that CTMH sells. I like how the double scrubber fits in there too.

My friend buys the giant boxes of cereal from Costco, when the box is empty she cuts the bottom off and stores her CTMH stamps in them. They fit perfectly!!

I too use the little crates for mine. You can fit so many sets in each crate. The price is just right on them too. I've found them at Wal-mart and at Dollar Tree.

Mini crates from Dollar tree for me too! They're the perfect size.

Another vote for the little crates from Dollar Tree. I actually switched to ones that have solid sides. I had some that had holes in the sides and I got tired of the edge of the stamp set getting caught on those.
I have 4 crates full of stamp sets. And need more.

I have a 3 drawer skinny plastic tower that I got at Walmart for less than $10. It measures 6 inches across, inside, so my sets do sit at a slight angle, but I have all of my sets in it.
When I go to a crop, I take out all my alphabets and put them in the small crates.
btw. the stamp sets measure about 6 1/4 square, so they will fit into anything that is 6 1/2 across. Hope that helps.

I take all of mine OUT of the envelopes, "hinge" the foamie thing to the set with a piece of tape across the bottom, and put them in boxes that I got at JoAnn's on clearance. They were originally flip-top boxes, but I tore the tops off so they'd be open (the stamp sets are too high to close the lid) and would slide easily onto my CD/DVD rack, which is where ALL of my stamps (CTMH and non-CTMH) are stored. Leaving them out of the envelopes allows me to put more sets in a smaller space, and the envelopes are handy for other things (pre-stamped images, stickers, rub-ons, those little pots of Studio G glitter and/or flocking). Works for me...

Only 4? Well of course you need more!!! LOL Seriously though I love the crates. I have a shelf above my desk (4') that holds 6 crates. I actually took the time to count my sets the other day and I have just over 100 stamp sets on that one shelf. Talk about being easy to store space wise! Of course my 6 crates are almost full to capacity. Not sure where I'll put crate #7 since the shelf only holds 6.

I have the $1 crates from Walmart and loved them. I recently bought the CTMH stamp holder and decided to switch. The crates are great but I find the stamp envelop wanting to slide and just not sit up right all the time (unless it is stuffed).
The CTMH one has dividers in it that helps the stamp sets from slipping. Hard to explain, but I'm slowing phasing out the crates for CTMH Holder.

I like her idea of keeping them alphabetically. Right now I keep them in the categories on the envelope but it's not always easy to remember which category they belong to.

I use the CTMH storage boxes and put them on a shelf. I use my label maker to label each container, an excel file of what is in each box, and a 3 ring binder of each stamp in the container. That way I can either use the excel file or the binder to find a stamp.

I have made (but not finished, lol) a stamping index similar to hers.
I stamped each set on a 6x6 piece of paper... just inked up the whole set and stamped it all at one time. I have those pages in some 6x6 page protectors. Then I have them divided by themes (like alphabets, flowers, sentiments, winter, etc) with paper covered chipboard. Everything is held together with jump rings. That way I can add or change it out as my inventory changes.
I hope this gives you all some good ideas.
