Question Cover-A-Card Backgrounds-Storage ??

I'm just wondering how people store these large unmounted background stamps from Impression Obsession?

I've been cruising their site and really want to order the Mega Mount and 3 or 4 of the cover-a-card backgrounds; just wondering on how to store them?

I am considering unmounting all my SU wood mounted background stamps because I can never get them completely well inked and stamp a really good image with them as is. My thought was to stack them all in one of the clam shell containers with a piece of parchment paper in between to keep them from sticking to each other. The SU boxes are not big enough to hold the Impression Obsession backgrounds that measure 5.75" square.

I've been searching here and on the internet for a few days and haven't found any specific suggestions for these large background stamps. Anyone have a suggestion or want to share how they do it?

I have a pretty large collection, and I store mine upright in plastic DVD storage drawers - I'm not home, and this is the only picture I could find to share - do you see the drawers under the desk behind my watermark?

If you don't have many, you can stack them, but if they get too heavy the rubber starts pressing into the foam above it in the stack, and the impression makes the foam not cling as well to the block.

I'm back!

Impression Obsession recommends the Art Bin Double Deep Translucent Super Satchel for storing the Cover-a-Card stamps. There are 2 different sizes - "semi" and "double wide".

If you google the name, you'll find lots of sources and quite a range of prices. They come with dividers which are removable. Mitra says you can fit a ton of stamps in these, and she also recommends alternating them so they are rubber-to-rubber or cling-to-cling.

I unmounted all of my SU! background stamps a long time ago. I was using them by laying them rubber-side-up on the table, anyway - why did I need a block? I take all of my stamps right down to rubber (no foam, no glue), so they don't stick to each other at all. I store them stacked in a clamshell case - ten will fit! Can't speak to the Impression Obsession stamps, so I'd just follow Dini's advice there...

I leave mine in the baggie they came in and store them on their edge in a plastic bin.
