Default Ribbon Swatches

I'm sure this is not a new concept, but it sure does beat rummaging through a bunch of spools to find the right ribbon for your project. Angry Kitten Crafts: Ribbon Swatches

I like that you can also organize inks, copics, papers and such. Is that exclusive to SU or a generic template?

I made this myself using microsoft excel. I took the color combos for the copics and pencils from a few posts on splitcoast, and my husband had to help with excel. Send me your email and I will email the file to you. You can add or take out any color you want. I just use SU because that is what I have the most of.

I have all my spools on the ribbon carousel from RibbonCarousel.com . I can see at a glance all the colors I have as well as the different types. I have found having the ribbon right there in the light sometimes helps me to pick colors for the card and then use the ribbon I fancy. Any smaller I have rolled neatly in those divided boxes from Michaels.

I have tons of ribbons stored in various formats and containers; so having a swatch notebook with number codes for the location is great for finding the right ribbon fast.

Ribbon Inventory by GypsyRoseStamper - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

The pages are cardstock inside plastic sleeves, and each swatch is attached with double stick adhesive. I also included with the ribbon samples of my washi tape, lace trim, and raffia.
