Default desktop organization.

I have to share my L-shapped desk with 2 computer monitors. They're a little low and need risers. Can't hang them because the desks face the window. I saw on someone's YouTube craft room review something that looked like those recollection cubes but much smaller and only two rows high. Probably stands about 5-6 inches. Any idea what they are? Almost done with my room and wld really like these to round off the look and of course, storage. Lol. Thx!

I'm guessing they might be letterpress storage. Hopefully that's enough of a clue to help you find it.

Good luck and ...

I did get a couple of mini recollections storage boxes at Michaels. They are about half the height, width and depth of a regular cube. I have one with shelves and one with shelves and a drawer. They were with all the other cubes at Michaels. Hope you can find them!

I may be way off here, but Michael's has the Recollections small cubes for desktop storage. They look like the big ones, but about 1/4 of the size. If that's what you mean, of course you'd need several in a row to raise up your monitors. They come in different configurations, like 2 drawers, slots, etc. Look in the same row as the big cubes.

I did a google search on "monitor riser" and saw a few white wood ones that might work but they were kind of pricey. I have a couple of sectioned wood storage units that have drawers in them that I don't use and I've used them for risers. You just put the open section facing the desktop and the drawer pull to the back and they are plain white - that might work if you have something you're not using. Also, the Recollections washi tape holders are small and they might work the same way I use my drawers.

I couldn't find anything under letterpress storage. I did look at the mini jetmax. The one's I thought I saw were not "cube" shaped....more like 1/2 a cube....same width but not tall.

I tried my marker case that came out of one of the mini cubes and it is the perfect height (about 4.5"tall), but I would love one's with or drawers....if I can use it as a shelf on my desk....I will fill it full of mail and crap. lol

Then I tried this with these old Ikea cubes:

But they're a little too high at 6". So, if anyone has one of those marker inserts they don't want to use, i'd consider buying it. Seems like that's the closest I can find to being the right height and depth, so it doesn't take up desk space!!! I could probably use two more, just to make it consistent along the back of my desk.
